Correa went a combined 1-for-8 over both ends of Saturday's doubleheader against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Correa is just 4-for-30 (.133) over the seven games since returning from a thumb injury. It's the type of injury that can effect a player's swing, so be patient as the young shortstop works through his timing and mechanics.

Correa went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and scored a run in Sunday's 8-6 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
This was Correa's first game back since tearing a ligament in his left thumb July 17. Hand injuries can be tricky to from, so we'll have to watch to see if there's any problems with swing mechanics or dropoff in power.

Correa (thumb), who was activated from the 10-day disabled list earlier Sunday, will start at shortstop and bat fourth in the Astros' series finale with the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, manager A.J. Hinch will waste no time ushering the superstar back into the lineup, allowing the Astros to give a breather to utility man Marwin Gonzalez. Correa batted .292 during his six-game rehab assignment, so fantasy owners probably shouldn't have many reservations of activating the shortstop heading into the upcoming week.

The Astros activated Correa (thumb) from the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Houston has yet to unveil their lineup for the series finale against the Mets, but it's expected to feature Correa at shortstop with the 22-year-old having fully recovered from the torn thumb ligament that sidelined him for a month and a half. Correa's return means that Marwin Gonzalez will likely see most of his action in the outfield going forward, which could translate to fewer at-bats for the likes of Jake Marisnick, Cameron Maybin and Derek Fisher.

Correa (thumb) will come off the DL and be inserted into Sunday's lineup against the Mets, Richard Justice of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This was the expectation, assuming Correa did not experience any setbacks in his rehab games Thursday and Friday, but now we have confirmation. Correa should be deployed in all formats down the stretch.

Correa (thumb) will play in rehab games Thursday and Friday for Double-A Corpus Christi before potentially returning to the Astros' lineup Sunday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
He is scheduled to play in a rehab game with Triple-A Fresno on Wednesday, and will then head to Frisco to join up with the Hooks. If all goes well, he will be evaluated Saturday before a potential activation for the series finale against the Mets.

Correa (thumb) is scheduled to play shortstop for Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday and Wednesday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Correa has already appeared in three games for Fresno, going 2-for-9 (.222) with a pair of RBI. If all goes well playing back-to-back days, Correa could find himself back with the Astros over the weekend, though an activation before rosters expand on Friday has been ruled out, according to Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle.

Correa (thumb) will start his rehab assignment with Triple-A Fresno on Thursday, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
Correa was able to take batting practice with the Astros on Tuesday, and said that he will need 20-to-30 at-bats during his rehab assignment before returning to the team. That will likely place his return right around the beginning of September following a week of appearances with Fresno, barring any setbacks.

Correa (thumb) estimated that he will need about a week of rehab games before he returns, although he has not yet been sent on a rehab assignment, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
He took batting practice with the team Tuesday and will meet with the team doctor to determine the plan for his impending rehab assignment. Once he gets sent to an affiliate, Correa estimates he will need 20-to-30 at-bats before he returns to the Astros. An early-September return seems like the most likely scenario.

Correa (thumb) will hit on the field with the team Tuesday, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
He appears to be nearing a rehab assignment, and will in fact meet with the team doctor again in the coming days before finalizing which affiliate he will start his assignment with. A return before the end of the month may be on the optimistic side, but Correa could certainly return in early September. Marwin Gonzalez is starting at shortstop once again Tuesday in his place.
