X-rays on Correa's injured left thumb came back negative Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
It seems that Correa has avoided a serious injury, as the tests on his injured left thumb revealed no structural damage. We'll simply have to wait to see if the 22-year-old is able to suit up for Wednesday's series finale against the Braves. He remains a true day-to-day case.

Correa exited Tuesday's game against the Braves early with left thumb discomfort.
EDGE Analysis
It initially appeared that the injury occurred to Correa's head on a headfirst slide into home plate, but it's now being revealed that it was his thumb that caused the Astros to remove their star shortstop from the game in the top of the fourth inning. With the Astros leading the Braves 7-0 at the time of his removal, it's entirely possible that it was simply a precautionary move. Correa will be listed as day-to-day for the time being.

Correa went 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Correa extended his hitting streak to 12 games while delivering two of his team's nine extra-base hits in this one. With 11 runs scored and 15 more driven in during those 12 contests, Correa has certainly made the most of the opportunities presented by batting in the heart of baseball's second-most potent lineup. It's scary to think that the 22-year-old shortstop likely still hasn't hit his ceiling with this season's .319/.394/.554 line.

Correa went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI during Saturday's win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Correa has been a rock-solid fantasy asset since entering the league, and this season he's taking his game to another level. The shortstop sports a .311/.388/.543 slash line with 17 home runs, 55 RBI and 56 runs. It would be nice to see him more active on the bases, as he hasn't attempted a steal all season. However, he owns a 1.079 OPS through his past 19 games and has recorded a hit in 17 of those contests, including 11 straight, so it's tough to nitpick.

Correra went 2-for-4 with a pair of two-run home runs during Thursday's win over Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
The two blasts bring Correa up to 16 homers, 53 RBI and 54 runs with a .309/.388/.537 slash line. The shortstop is posting high-end fantasy results and living up to the billing that made him an early-round selection leading into the season.

Correa went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and a pair of runs in Wednesday's win over the A's.
EDGE Analysis
While Correa has yet to even attempt a stolen base this year after breaking double digits in each of the past two seasons, he's doing his finest work yet at the plate. Every component of his .301/.378/.521 slash line represents a career high, and with 14 homers already, he's on pace to blast past his career-best 22 from two seasons ago.

Correa went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Correa is at the top of his position with 12 home runs and 41 RBI while posting an .879 OPS, second only to the Reds' Zack Cozart. Batting cleanup in what has been baseball's best offense, a healthy Correa should make a push for his first 100-RBI season in 2017.

Correa is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
After closing out May in grand fashion, Correa has labored through the Astros' first nine games of June, recording just seven hits in 37 at-bats (.189 average). Manager A.J. Hinch is hopeful that a day out of the lineup will provide a needed reset for Correa, who should return to the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Rangers. Marwin Gonzalez will spell Correa at shortstop Sunday.

Correa went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks in Sunday's win over Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Correa extended his hitting streak to 10 games with a home run to center off Martin Perez in the third inning, his 11th long ball of the season. During the hit streak, Correa is 20-for-44 (.455), raising his average to .315 for the season. His 39 RBI ranks first in the majors among shortstops. It seems like the entire Astros lineup is clicking right now, and Correa has been right in the middle of it all. Keep riding this hot streak.
