Correa has gone yard twice in the last three games, giving him eight homers on the season, but he continues to have trouble building any real momentum at the plate -- over his last 10 games. he's batting just .194 (7-for-36)

Correa singled in his first at-bat before crushing a leadoff homer his second time around to put the Twins up 1-0 in the top of the fourth. It was his seventh long ball of the season and his first since May 13 against the Cubs as the shortstop continues to try and gut it out while dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left heel. Correa's average now sits at .210 following the two-hit outing Thursday and he's gone just 4-for-24 at the plate over his last six games.

Correa (heel) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Rays.

EDGE Analysis

Correa will start at shortstop and bat third versus the Rays and right-hander Zach Eflin after missing another stretch of games due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot. It's something he might have to manage the rest of the way, and his .207/.299/.372 slash line for the season leaves plenty to be desired.
