Correa (plantar fasciitis) is expected to return from the injured list when first eligible Sept. 29 in Coors Field, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
An MRI taken of Correa's left foot showed a full thickness tear of the central cortex of his plantar fascia, per Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. That sounds scary but is actually a good thing, as the hope is that it will alleviate the discomfort he's been feeling and he can make it back after a minimum stay on the IL. Royce Lewis (hamstring) could also end up on the shelf after a scheduled MRI this weekend, so Kyle Farmer will play roughly every day and Willi Castro will be used more in the infield.
