Carrasco (16-8) pitched 6.1 innings Sunday, yielding five runs on nine hits and two walks in the 6-2 loss to the Rays. He struck out nine and yielded two homers while taking the loss.
EDGE Analysis
Overall, it just wasn't Carrasco's day and he didn't receive any run support before being yanked in the seventh inning. He coughed up a pair of solo homers to Brandon Lowe and C.J. Cron. Still, he owns a 3.52 ERA and a strong 187:33 K:BB in 161 innings this season. The 31-year-old will take the mound in Toronto on Friday.

Carrasco (16-7) struck out 11 across 7.2 shutout innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Twins, allowing four hits and two walks in the process.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco was at the top of his game, throwing 68 percent of his pitches for strikes as he recorded his second-highest punchout total of the season. He also limited baserunners to great effect and allowed just one man to reach second base. Carrasco is in the midst of one of hie best stretches of the season, going at least seven scoreless innings in three of his last four starts. He'll take a diminishing 3.38 ERA into a favorable matchup with the Rays this weekend.

Carrasco (15-7) took the loss Wednesday, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out six over 3.2 innings against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco got off to a solid enough start, but was done in by a disastrous fourth inning in which he yielded a homer, a double, three singles and a walk while giving up five runs in the frame. The 31-year-old had posted six straight quality starts prior to Wednesday -- three of which he allowed zero earned runs -- so it's tempting to write this one off as a blip on the radar against the league's highest-scoring offense. He'll look to get back on track Tuesday against the Twins.

Carrasco (15-6) picked up the win in Friday's 2-1 victory over the Orioles, allowing three hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has now moved into a tie for the AL lead in wins with a spectacular run since the All-Star break -- Carrasco has delivered quality starts in six straight outings, posting a 1.33 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 49:5 K:BB in 40.2 innings over that stretch while winning four of the six starts. He'll have a hard time keeping his momentum going, however, when he next takes the mound Wednesday in Boston.

Carrasco (14-6) tossed seven one-run innings to earn the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing three hits with no walks and nine strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco was in top form in this one, throwing 70 percent of his pitches for strikes while limiting baserunners to great effect. He was touched up for a run on a hit, and error and a wild pitch in the first inning, be he settled down thereafter and remarkably retired the final 16 batters he faced. What's more, Carrasco needed just 90 pitches to cruise through seven frames and recorded his second contest with at least nine punchouts and no walks. He's now rattled off five consecutive quality starts, posting a sparkling 43:4 K:BB over that span. The right-hander will look to continue his recent success this weekend against the Orioles.

Carrasco (13-6) allowed three runs on 10 hits and one walk across 6.1 innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Twins. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco flirted with danger all evening, but the only runs against him came via a three-run home run off the bat of Mitch Garver in the second inning. The 10 hits against were a season high for Carrasco, but he still managed to deliver his fourth straight quality start and ran his K:BB to a sparkling 34:4 in that span. He was perhaps thrown off his routine by a rain delay of over two hours, but he still logged 97 pitches. Carrasco had also won five straight decisions prior to this minor hiccup and will look to get back in the win column in his next scheduled start this weekend against the White Sox.

Carrasco (13-5) picked up the win Wednesday, scattering four hits over 7.1 scoreless innings while striking out 10 in a 2-0 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
He retired the first 11 batters he faced, and the only runner to get into scoring position off Carrasco came via a Joe Mauer triple in the sixth inning. The right-hander has now won five straight decisions, and he'll carry a 3.66 ERA into his next start Tuesday at home in a rematch with Minnesota.

Carrasco didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 8-3 win over the Tigers, allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks over 6.1 innings while striking out eight.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander generated 19 swinging strikes among his 97 pitches (68 total strikes), and Carrasco has now produced quality starts in each of his first two outings coming out of the All-Star break with a 16:3 K:BB in 13 innings. He'll take a 3.89 ERA into his next start Wednesday in Minnesota.

Carrasco picked up a win in relief Sunday during the Indians' 5-2 triumph over the Yankees. He tossed a perfect inning and struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco may have missed out on a two-start week, but that didn't prevent him from scooping up two wins. Manager Terry Fracona elected to make the right-hander available out of the bullpen on three days' rest for the Tribe's final game of the first half, and Carrasco shined as the setup man for closer Cody Allen. After Carrasco retired the side on 14 pitches, the Indians broke a 2-2 tie with three runs in the bottom of the eighth to propel him to his 11th win. Carrasco is expected to slot back into the rotation following the All-Star break, with his first outing most likely coming during next weekend's series in Texas.

Carrasco (forearm) was activated off the 10-day disabled list Friday ahead of his start against the Athletics, Nick Camino of Newsradio WTAM 1100 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carrasco had a rehab start with Double-A Akron followed by a bullpen session last Saturday after spending the last few weeks on the disabled list with the forearm bruise. The 31-year-old had a 4.24 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 96:22 K:BB over 91.1 innings prior to sustaining the injury, and isn't expected to be saddled with a strict limitation on his pitch count.
