Maybin went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and his fourth steal of the season in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfield has struggled with his new club (.211/.317/.296), which has resulted in a demotion to eighth in the batting order. He responded well to the drop in the order Tuesday, but he will have continue to produce in order to stave off Ben Revere from moving in on his playing time. Maybin's production up to this point hasn't been helping standard league owners, but those in deep formats could find use for his regular playing time and solid speed.

Maybin is out of Saturday's lineup against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
He is hitting just .219/.315/.297 with one home run and three steals in 73 plate appearances. Ben Revere will start in left field and hit seventh in his place against righty Yu Darvish.

Maybin is not in the lineup Thursday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Despite coming off a three-hit effort Wednesday, Maybin will head to the bench as Ben Revere takes over in left field against righty Kendall Graveman. Maybin should continue to see the bulk of starts in left field, though he'll likely surrender a few starts to Revere each week.

Maybin went 3-for-4 with three RBI from a pair of run-scoring singles in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Athletics. He also scored once.
EDGE Analysis
Maybin's second-inning hit knotted the score at 2-2, while his seventh-inning single with the bases loaded gave the Angels some breathing room by extending their lead to 6-3. After a career season in Detroit last year that saw him slash .315/.383/.418 in 94 games, Maybin has fallen back down to earth thus far in 2017, which currently has him hitting at the bottom of the order. However, he brings some RBI and stolen-base upside, keeping him viable fantasy-wise even as he tries to snap out of what has essentially been a season-long funk at the plate.

Maybin went 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in a 2-1 win over the Blue Jays on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder returned to the lineup after getting a day off Sunday, a trend that has been happening twice a week on average this season. Maybin hasn't done much with his bat early on (.204/.295/.296), but he is beginning to provide some fantasy value with two steals over his last two starts. If he can raise his batting average and match or surpass last year's total of 15 steals, then the 30-year-old could restore his standard-league status; as of right now, he is only providing value to those in deeper formats.

Maybin is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maybin had started each of the last five games in left field, going 3-for-19 with two walks and a stolen base. Despite Maybin's underwhelming numbers, it seems that manager Mike Scioscia is committed to sticking with the 30-year-old as the team's regular option in left field, though he'll likely surrender a few starts to Ben Revere each week.

Manager Mike Scioscia said that Maybin will still see the lion's share of starts in left field, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everything seemed fine when Maybin got a day off on Sunday, but when Scioscia benched him for the second game in a row Monday, rumblings of a timeshare with Ben Revere began to gain ground. The Angels' manager dismissed those thoughts, stating that he is simply "mixing and matching a little bit until some of our guys get comfortable." Maybin has gotten off to a slow start this season, slashing a meager .212/.297/.333 through nine games, but with Scioscia giving him a vote of confidence, it appears that he will simply miss a couple games a week in certain matchups as opposed to a strict platoon with Revere.

Maybin is not in the lineup Monday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Maybin will ride the pine for the second straight game as Ben Revere is deployed in left field. The 30-year-old has struggled to reach base consistently this season (.297 OBP), opening the door for Revere to possibly win a timeshare in left field.

Maybin is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maybin continues to see the bulk of the starts in left field over Ben Revere, but he'll give way to the speedster for the series finale. It may not be long before left field turns into more of a timeshare between the two, however, as Maybin has posted a weak .297 on-base percentage over 37 plate appearances while striking out 10 times.

Maybin is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
After extending his hitting streak to five games with a double Tuesday, Maybin will sit in favor of Ben Revere in left field. It's clear that Maybin is the primary option in left for the Halos, but manager Mike Scioscia seems intent on keeping Revere dialed in with semi-regular at-bats. Maybin is already on the board with a homer this season after managing just four home runs in 94 games with the Tigers last year.
