The Phillies released Stevenson on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
He lost his spot on the 40-man roster after Aaron Nola (ankle/rib) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list. Stevenson was up in the big leagues for about two weeks early in the season but has otherwise spent the 2025 campaign at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, producing a .237/.368/.349 slash line to go with six home runs and 22 steals across 346 plate appearances.

The Phillies optioned Stevenson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson was promoted from Triple-A on April 20 when Brandon Marsh (hamstring) landed on the injured list and will now head back to the minors following the latter's return. During his time in the big leagues, Stevenson appeared in five games, going 2-for-8 with an RBI. He'd be the likely choice to return to the majors if the Phillies' outfield depth is tested again later in the year.

The Phillies recalled Stevenson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old missed out on the Opening Day roster but is up with Philadelphia on Sunday as Brandon Marsh (hamstring) lands on the injured list. Stevenson had a .708 OPS in 18 games across a couple regular-season stints with the Phillies last season, and he isn't likely to have a significant role while up in the majors this time around.

The Phillies optioned Stevenson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson will end the spring with a .179/.313/.333 slash line to go along with 19 strikeouts in 39 at-bats. He'll look to get back on track in the minors, but his career .514 OPS doesn't inspire much confidence in his ability to produce in the majors if he gets called up to Philly.

The Phillies optioned Stevenson to their spring training complex Tuesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Triple-A Lehigh Valley's season over, Stevenson will report to the team's spring training facility, where he'll work out in case he's needed later on. The transaction frees a spot on the roster for the return of Austin Hays (kidney) from the injured list.

Stevenson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson had started in each of the Phillies' last three matchups with right-handed pitchers and went 2-for-6 with a double, a walk and two RBI. Though he'll take a seat Wednesday against righty Freddy Peralta, the lefty-hitting Stevenson appears to be making a push for taking over the strong side of a platoon in center field with Johan Rojas.

The Phillies recalled Stevenson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
With Austin Hays set to miss at least the next week due to a kidney infection, Stevenson will return to Philadelphia to make up for the lost depth in the Phillies' outfield unit. The 27-year-old has slashed .300/.420/.483 with eight homers and 43 RBI across 393 plate appearances in Triple-A but will likely be limited to a bench role while in the majors.

Stevenson was with the big club for a couple weeks while Austin Hays (hamstring) was sidelined. Hays is now back, and Stevenson is being sent down to make room for him.

The Phillies selected Stevenson's contract from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Giants late May but was designated for assignment before receiving a look in the big leagues. Stevenson has spent the past two months at Lehigh Valley, where he has a .304/.419/.484 slash line with seven homers and 27 steals in 90 games. He'll provide outfield depth as Austin Hays (hamstring) heads to the injured list.

Stevenson cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson was designated for assignment by Philadelphia on Thursday to clear room for Drew Ellis after Ellis had his contract selected from Lehigh Valley. Stevenson has struggled to a .208 average and .617 OPS over 77 at-bats with one homer and five stolen bases in the minors, and he went 0-for-9 in a brief call-up with San Francisco before being claimed off waivers by the Phillies.
