Stevenson went 0-for-3 with a pair of walks and a stolen base in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Making his first career start out of the leadoff spot, Stevenson did his part by drawing the pair of free passes and also put his speed on display on the bases. Though he's off to a 2-for-13 start to his big-league career, he's drawn five walks over his first five games to prop his on-base percentage up to .389. Stevenson looks like he'll continue to get steady run as Oakland's everyday center fielder.

Stevenson, who was promoted from Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, is hitting .286 (2-for-7) with two walks and a run over his first three major-league games. He's also been caught stealing once.
EDGE Analysis
The promising prospect earned the callup after slashing a stellar .305/.417/.542 with the Aviators over 16 games following his acquisition from the Rays organization. Stevenson has held his own against big-league arms thus far in the very small sample of nine plate appearances, and his 67 stolen bases over 338 minor-league games gives him some upside in that department.

Stevenson will open the year with High-A Dunedin, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson only played in rookie ball after the Blue Jays selected him in the 10th round of last year's draft, so this is a pretty big jump in levels for the 22-year-old outfielder. Of course, given his age and the fact he had almost as many steals (21) as strikeouts last year (24), he is deserving of this challenge. If he carries over that success at a more age-appropriate level this year, he could become a top-200 prospect for dynasty leagues.
