Brian Roberts went 2-for-4 with three RBI in the Orioles' 5-0 win over the Braves in Atlanta on Saturday. Roberts had an RBI single in the fifth inning, but was thrown out trying to stretch in into a double. He then added a two-run single to cap off Baltimore's scoring in the seventh. The veteran second baseman is hitting .318 (7-for-22) with four RBI since his activation from the disabled list and (more importantly) hasn't complained of any concussion-related symptoms. He deserves to be owned and started in all fantasy formats for as long as he remains active.

Brian Roberts had a nice night in his season debut on Tuesday, going 3-4 with an RBI in the Orioles 8-6 victory over the Pirates. Roberts has been sidelined since May 16th of last season with concussion-related issues. Still, he's a .281 career hitter who has always brought a solid power/speed combination to the table when in the lineup. While he shouldn't be counted on to remain healthy, he makes for a very intriguing flyer while he is playing. These are the type of low-risk, high-reward pickups that can put a fantasy team over the top.

Orioles activated 2B Brian Roberts from the 60-day disabled list. Roberts is batting leadoff and playing second base Tuesday in his first major league game since last May. There's no guarantee that he'll be able to avoid a recurrence of concussion-related symptoms. But if he does, the veteran infielder could carry a good amount of mixed-league fantasy value.

Brian Roberts (concussion) is slated to play second base and bat leadoff in his return from the disabled list Tuesday. The Orioles have held off on making an official roster move, likely due to some of the inclement weather in the Baltimore area. However, if everything goes as planned, the 34-year-old will appear in a major league game for the first time since May 16, 2011. If he can stay on the field and avoid any setbacks with concussion symptoms, he should have value in most mixed leagues.

Orioles transferred 2B Brian Roberts (concussion) from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. He's already missed 60 days, so this was just a procedural move to clear space on the 40-man roster. Roberts is on a rehab assignment and could be back with the O's in mid-June.

Brian Roberts (head) drew two walks in two plate appearances Wednesday at Double-A Bowie. Roberts also scored a run and had a couple of defensive assists at second base in what was his minor league rehab debut. The 34-year-old hasn't appeared in a major league game in over a year and is likely to spend more than two weeks in the O's farm system. He's probably not worth a stash in most fantasy formats.

Brian Roberts (head) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Wednesday with Double-A Bowie. He lives! Roberts hasn't appeared in a major league game since last May 16 and is no guarantee to make it through his minor league rehab assignment without suffering a setback. But he may take on some value in AL-only fantasy leagues if he does. The veteran second baseman currently projects to return in early-to-mid June.

Brian Roberts (concussion) indicated Monday that he is close to beginning a minor league rehab assignment. Nothing is official yet, but there's a chance it could happen within a week if he continues to make progress. He'll likely start out playing with Double-A Bowie, which is close to his home. While this is encouraging news, there's no timetable for him to rejoin the Orioles. Robert Andino, who is hitting .264/.314/.372 through 161 plate appearances this year, will continue to fill in at second base.

Mel Antonen of Sirius-XM Radio reports that Brian Roberts (concussion) is "making good progress" and will travel with the Orioles to Kansas City for their series starting Wednesday. Antonen cautions, though, that there's still no timetable for Roberts' return. The 34-year-old has made multiple road trips already this season, so we're not sure how much progress he's really made, but at least we haven't heard about any setbacks recently. At this point, with the O's and Robert Andino playing well, Roberts is no safe bet to be a starter whenever he does make it back.
