Brett Myers was seen limping around the clubhouse Wednesday, but he said his strained right hamstring is fine. Myers pitched a solid eight innings Tuesday and didn't appear to be favoring the hamstring at all. He should be fine for his next start, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

It's telling, though not surprising given his struggles, that Happ was pushed back to the No. 5 spot. Management has said they've had no discussions about removing Happ from the rotation, but we can't imagine that his leash is terribly long even with the 'Stros lack of pitching depth.

Myers walked four and yielded four hits in the shaky outing, and is now carrying a 4.88 ERA. Unless he's traded, he's not going to hold much fantasy value in the second half.

Myers had turned in three straight quality starts, the last two coming against the Rangers, but he stumbled today. Everything he threw was in the strike zone, and most of it got hit. He finished the day with one strikeout and no walks. The 13 hits allowed were a new career high for him. He gave up 12 in a start April 7, 2010 versus the Giants.

Now only was it his first complete game, but it was the first time all year that he's pitched into the eighth inning. He won for just the third time and lowered his ERA to 4.75.
