Eibner was optioned back to Triple-A Omaha on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
With Alex Gordon coming off the DL, Eibner will be sent back to Omaha to clear a spot on the 25-man roster. In 11 games with the big league club, Eibner went 11-for-37 (.297) at the dish, plating seven runs and homering once to go with five doubles. Prior to the call-up, he had been slashing .289/.385/.520 in 47 Triple-A contests.

Eibner isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets, Joel Goldberg of FSKC reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eibner made five straight starts recently, and seems to be pushing for a more permanent spot in the outfield, posting a .858 OPS in the majors this season. The Royals elected to choose lefty Jarrod Dyson to face right-hander Noah Syndergaard instead.

Eibner will start in left field and bat seventh Sunday against the Tigers, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's the fourth straight start for Eibner, who appears to be encroaching on Jarrod Dyson's playing time in the corner outfield. Over the past three games, Eibner has made a strong case to stick in the lineup by batting 3-for-12 with a homer and three RBI.

Eibner went 2-for-4, driving in two RBI and scoring a run in Thursday's 10-4 loss to the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Eibner made his return from injury and did it with flair, hitting his first career home run. In five games this year, he's hitting 8-for-17 with four RBI, a good start to his rookie campaign aside from the injury.

Eibner is back in the lineup playing left field against Detroit on Thursday, Sports Radio 610's Josh Vernier reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eibner was place on the 15-day disabled list June 1 with a left lateral ankle sprain that he suffered during a game against Tampa Bay. After being activated from the DL on Thursday, Eibner was slotted into the lineup card in left field, batting ninth. In the four games that he has played for the Royals this season, Eibner is 6-for-13 with three doubles and two RBI.

Eibner (ankle) was activated from the DL on Thursday, the Kansas City Star's Rustin Dodd reports.
EDGE Analysis
He had been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha, where he went 4-for-24 with a home run and six strikeouts. Eibner is not much of a prospect, but he popped up on the scene this year after the Royals suffered a rash of injuries and needed to look internally for some pop. He should see some time in the outfield corners when the Royals look for offense over defense, especially when a lefty is on the mound, and he could also start taking starts away from Kendrys Morales at DH if he the veteran does not start hitting soon.

Eibner (ankle) will start a rehab stint Thursday with Triple-A Omaha, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eibner landed on the disabled list last week with a sprained ankle, but it appears as though he's progressing well. He'll likely play in a few rehab games before being activated, but it remains unclear whether the 27-year-old will stay at the Triple-A level or rejoin the big league club once healthy.

Eibner (ankle) was able to do some drills in the field prior to Sunday's game, Joel Goldberg of FOX Sports Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Royals haven't issued a firm timetable for Eibner after he landed on the DL a week ago with the ankle sprain, but his involvement in on-field activity is a positive sign. Even once he's activated from the DL, Eibner won't face an easy path to regular at-bats, and could get sent back to Triple-A Omaha right away.

Eibner's MRI revealed just a lateral ankle sprain, but there is no official timetable for him to return, the Kansas City Star's Rustin Dodd reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was placed on the 15-day DL on Wednesday, and will be re-evaluated in five days. The fact that he didn't break anything or injure his Achilles is good news, but he'll still miss at least a couple weeks. Once healthy, Eibner will have a chance to earn some playing time in a depleted Royals lineup if he can swing a hot bat. He hit .309 with 10 homers at Triple-A prior to getting the call, but as a 27-year-old, he may have just been hitting his groove as a Quadruple-A hitter.

Eibner (ankle) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, Rustin Dodd of the Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eibner, who had been one of the several Royals helping to fill the void in left field left by Alex Gordon, exited Tuesday's game after planting awkwardly in the field and spraining his ankle. Jarrod Dyson will start in left Wednesday, but the Royals also recalled Reymond Fuentes in a corresponding move and he will be another option to get starts while Gordon is sidelined. Eibner will be eligible to return June 16.
