Miller (4-1) allowed three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings to earn the win over the Royals on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Miller came up one out short of a quality start, but this was still a vast improvement over his last two outings, in which he gave up a combined 13 runs over 9.2 innings. The rookie right-hander now has a 4.23 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB over 38.1 innings through his first seven big-league starts. He's still walking a few too many batters to be dominant, but his rotation spot is likely safe at least until Noah Syndergaard (finger) returns. Miller is projected for a home start versus the Pirates next week.

Miller allowed six runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out three batters over four-plus innings in a no-decision against the Astros on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Miller managed to get through four frames with only one run scored against him, but the tide turned dramatically in the fifth. In that inning, all seven Houston batters who came to the plate against him reached base, with Alex Bregman's grand slam representing the biggest -- but not the only -- blow. Miller's line could have actually been even worse, but Yency Almonte worked his way out a no-out, men-on-the-corners situation without allowing either of the inherited runners to score. Miller looked like he could be a Rookie of the Year candidate over his first four starts, during which he posted a 0.78 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 23:7 K:BB over 23 innings while picking up three wins. However, the right-hander has come back down to earth in his two starts since, allowing 13 runs on 17 hits and registering an 8:6 K:BB across 9.2 frames. J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reported prior to the contest that both Miller and fellow rookie Emmet Sheehan are expected to remain in the rotation even after Julio Urias (hamstring) returns from the injured list next week, though that decision could eventually shift if Miller continues to struggle.

Miller (3-1) allowed seven runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was fine until the fifth inning, and the Giants then proceeded to put it in overdrive over the fifth and sixth frames. Prior to Saturday, Miller had given up just two runs over 23 innings across four starts. The rookie right-hander's bad outing spiked his ERA up to 2.83 with a 1.01 WHIP and 28:10 K:BB through 28.2 innings. It's just a blip on the radar for now, and the hard-throwing 24-year-old will look to bounce back next week at home against the Astros.

Miller (3-0) earned the win Saturday, allowing three hits and three walks over six scoreless innings against the Phillies. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Miller has been absolutely dominant since being recalled from Triple-A at the end of May. He's posted back-to-back scoreless outings with at least seven strikeouts and has given up just 12 hits and two runs across 23 innings while boasting a 23:7 K:BB during that stretch. Miller figures to continue getting opportunities while he's pitching this well, especially given the number of injuries to the Dodgers' rotation, and his next start is tentatively scheduled for the opener of a three-game weekend set versus the Giants.

Miller allowed one hit and two walks over six shutout frames in Sunday's loss to the Yankees. He struck out seven and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Miller issued a pair of walks in the first inning but didn't allow a hit until the fifth. He forced double-digit whiffs for the first time at the MLB level, collecting 14 on Sunday, including 11 via the slider. Through three career MLB starts, he's registered a 16:4 K:BB and a 1.06 ERA in 17 frames. Miller's next start is currently lined up to be in Philadelphia.

Miller (2-0) earned the win Monday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over six innings in a 6-1 victory over the Nationals. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Miller now has two consecutive quality starts to begin his big-league career. The 29th overall pick in the 2020 Draft has allowed just two runs over 11 total innings and boasts a 9:2 K:BB. The right-hander is tentatively slated to face the Yankees at home in his next start.

Miller is slated to start Monday's game against the Nationals, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller will get another opportunity to prove he's deserving of a longer-term stay in the Los Angeles rotation after he performed well in his MLB debut in Atlanta last Tuesday, when he struck out five and gave up one run on four hits and one walk over five innings in a winning effort. With Gavin Stone surrendering seven earned runs in Sunday's loss to the Rays and now sporting a 14.40 ERA through his first three big-league starts, Miller doesn't have a high bar to clear Monday as he looks to stake a claim to a back-end rotation spot. Michael Grove (groin) appears poised to return from the 15-day injured list during the upcoming weekend, and he'll presumably replace one of Stone or Miller in the rotation.

Miller (1-0) earned the win Tuesday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over 5 innings against Atlanta. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Miller made quick work of one of MLB's top offenses, striking out five with his only run allowed coming on a throwing error by Miguel Rojas in the first. Though the 24-year-old logged a 5.65 ERA in 14.1 innings at the Triple-A level, he has been heralded as one of the Dodgers' top prospects and displayed why he's earned that title Tuesday. With Julio Urias (hamstring) on the 15-day injured list it's expected Miller will stick around for at least one more turn in the rotation, which is tentatively scheduled to come during a homestand against the Nationals. Managers should be quick to snap up Miller in leagues where he's still on waivers, especially with an expected date with one of MLB"s lowest scoring offenses on deck and the possibility of earning a handful more starts if he continues to perform.

The Dodgers promoted Miller from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday for his start against Atlanta, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old righty has made four starts for Oklahoma City this season, recording a 5.65 ERA and 1.21 WHIP through 14.1 innings. While his numbers might not exactly jump off the page, he's demonstrated a knack for striking out batters at a plus rate, logging a 10.1 K/9 throughout his Triple-A career. To make room for Miller on the Dodgers' roster, Tyler Cyr (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list, and Dustin May (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day IL.

The Dodgers will promote Miller from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Tuesday against Atlanta, Russell Dorsey of Bally Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander is one of Los Angeles' top prospects and will make his MLB debut this week with Julio Urias (hamstring) and Dustin May (forearm) both landing on the injured list within the past few days. Miller has a 5.65 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 12:6 K:BB across 14.1 innings at Triple-A after missing the first few weeks of the season with shoulder soreness, though he pitched well in his last start with just one run allowed and six strikeouts across six frames.
