Miller (9-3) allowed a run on three hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Miller had given up four runs in back-to-back starts, but he was able to put together a dominant outing against the best team in the majors. The rookie right-hander had not pitched more than 6.1 innings in any of his outings prior to Sunday. Miller is now at a 3.80 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 84:26 K:BB through 94.2 innings over 17 starts. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Nationals.

Miller (8-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings to earn the win Monday over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Miller wasn't at his best, throwing 58 of 86 pitches for strikes in the outing, but the Dodgers' offense gave him enough support to get the win. The rookie right-hander received an extra day of rest between starts after throwing 97 pitches in a loss to the Guardians in his previous outing. He's still holding his own overall, ending August with 11 runs allowed (10 earned) over 28 innings. For the year, Miller's at a 4.00 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 79:25 K:BB through 87.2 innings across 16 starts. He's projected for an intimidating home start against Atlanta this weekend.

Miller will get an extra day of rest before his next start, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller took the loss in his start Tuesday against the Guardians, allowing four earned runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five across 6.1 frames. After the game, manager Dave Roberts said he allowed Miller to pitch deep into the game because he will have a planned extra day of rest prior to his next outing. That means he won't start during the team's weekend series in Boston, also leaving the Dodgers' starter on Sunday up in the air.

Miller (7-2) allowed a run on a hit and a walk while striking out four over six innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Miller allowed the first two batters in the game to reach base and gave up a run on a fielder's choice, but he retired 18 straight after finding his way in the shaky opening frame. He's up to six quality starts in 14 outings this season, pitching to a solid 3.70 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 70:22 K:BB through 75.1 innings. Miller is projected to make his next start at home versus the Marlins this weekend.

Miller allowed four hits and four walks while striking out four over six shutout innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was solid in this start after going 3.2 innings in his previous outing. The downside was that the four walks were a season high, though this was also his third scoreless outing and fifth quality start of the campaign. Miller is at a 3.89 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 66:21 K:BB through 69.1 innings over 13 starts. He appears likely to hold down the fifth start spot in the rotation going forward, with his next outing tentatively lined up to be at home versus the Brewers next week.

Miller (6-2) allowed three runs on six hits and struck out six without walking a batter over five innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The Reds did their damage in the first inning, which included Jake Fraley tagging Miller for a two-run home run. Miller appears to be mostly back on track, having allowing seven runs over his last 15.2 innings following a rough stretch in the latter half of June. The rookie right-hander has a 4.37 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 59:16 K:BB through 59.2 innings over 11 starts this season. He's tentatively projected for a road start versus the Padres next week, though that could change if the Dodgers continue to add starting pitching ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline. Miller likely has the upper hand on remaining in the rotation over Emmet Sheehan and Michael Grove, who have both struggled lately and will get one more audition each over the remainder of this weekend's series.

Miller (6-1) picked up the win in Saturday's 16-3 rout of the Rangers, giving up three runs on seven hits over six innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Texas actually grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Miller and the Dodgers' offense each buckled down and got to work after that. The quality start was the first since June 10 for the rookie right-hander, but he's delivered four in his first 10 big-league outings. Miller will carry a 4.28 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 53:16 K:BB through 54.2 innings into his next start, likely to come at home next weekend against the Reds.

Miller (knee) is listed as the Dodgers' probable starter for Saturday's game against the Rangers in Arlington, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller experienced right knee discomfort in his most recent outing last Sunday versus the Mets, but the injury apparently won't force him to miss a turn through the rotation as he returns to the mound this weekend on five days rest. Since opening his big-league career with a 0.78 ERA and 0.83 WHIP over his first four starts, Miller has failed to reach the sixth inning in any of his subsequent five outings while posting a 7.36 ERA and 1.52 WHIP.

Miller exited Sunday's game against the Mets due to right knee discomfort, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller got into a jam in the fifth inning and exited with a trainer after tossing 4.2 innings. He said after the game that he was "all good" and said that he wanted to pitch through the issue. Given his postgame comments, it seems unlikely that the right-hander will be forced to miss any turns through the rotation, but he'll presumably be monitored by the team's medical staff in the coming days. Prior to his departure, he allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out five.

Miller (5-1) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven over 5.2 innings to earn the win Wednesday over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
All four runs against him came on home runs by Bryan Reynolds and Jack Suwinski. The Dodgers then proceeded to score six times over the fourth and fifth innings, allowing Miller to emerge with his second straight win despite not having his sharpest stuff. The right-hander has given up seven runs over 11.1 innings across his last two outings. He's at a 4.50 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 42:15 K:BB through 44 innings over eight starts. Miller has likely done well enough to stick in the Dodgers' rotation following the All-Star break.
