Blake Hawksworth (elbow) is not expected to be ready for major league action until mid-May. Hawksworth underwent surgery this offseason to remove a bone spur and scar tissue fro his throwing elbow, then needed another procedure a few weeks later to clear out an infection. He will stay back in Arizona for extended spring training when the rest of the Dodgers head north.

Hawksworth, who turns 29 in March, posted a 4.08 ERA and a 43/17 K/BB ratio over 53 innings with the Dodgers last season.
