Voth signed with the Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball on Sunday, Yakyu Cosmopolitan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Voth was non-tendered by the Mariners in November. The 32-year-old righty had been working as a reliever the past two seasons in MLB, but he'll likely stretch back out in Japan. He had a 3.69 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and a 61:18 K:BB in 61 innings over 68 appearances in 2024.

Seattle non-tendered Voth on Friday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Voth signed with the Mariners in January on a one-year deal after playing for the Orioles in 2023. Voth posted a 3.69 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 61 innings in 2024, which were his best numbers since 2019 when he played for the Nationals. The 32-year-old will enter free agency and should garner plenty of interest from teams looking to bolster its bullpen with right-handed pitching.

Voth (2-5) took the loss against the Athletics on Monday, allowing a game-winning solo home run to the only batter he faced.
EDGE Analysis
Voth dueled with Shea Langeliers for six pitches to open the bottom of the ninth in a 4-4 tie, and the backstop ultimately got the better of the battle when he launched a 418-foot shot to left field to walk it off for the Athletics. The homer was the second allowed by Voth in his last five outings and snapped a three-appearance scoreless streak that had temporarily lowered the right-hander's ERA to under 3.00. Despite the stumble Monday, Voth retains an impressive 3.13 ERA and 0.93 WHIP across 61 appearances, numbers he's complemented with 13 holds.

Voth secured his 12th hold in a win over the Rays on Wednesday, firing 1.1 perfect innings during which he recorded three strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Voth put on a clinic in efficiency, requiring only 15 pitches to record his four outs. The veteran right-hander has been a largely steady hand for the Mariners' bullpen all season, with Wednesday's performance lowering his ERA and WHIP to 3.02 and 0.93, respectively, across 53.2 innings and affording him his first hold since July 28 in the process.

Voth (2-4) took the loss and was charged with a blown save against the Angels on Sunday, allowing two earned runs on a hit and a walk over one-third of an inning. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
Voth was put in a tough spot right from the onset, as he entered the game as an emergency replacement for Ryne Stanek, who was pulled due to back spasms after facing just one batter. Voth allowed a go-ahead three-run home run to Jo Adell after opening his outing by walking Zach Neto, giving the Angels a one-run lead they wouldn't relinquish. After an eight-appearance scoreless stretch, Voth heads into the All-Star break having surrendered a total of four runs (three earned), including two total homers, in two of his last three trips to the mound.

Voth (2-2) recorded his seventh hold but also took the loss against the Rays on Monday, allowing three earned runs on two hits and a walk over two-thirds of an inning.
EDGE Analysis
Voth's messy outing actually began in very positive fashion, as he retired the first two hitters he faced to open the eighth inning with the Mariners holding a 3-1 lead. However, Voth would allow the next three hitters to reach safely via a walk, single and ground-rule double, the latter hit driving in the Rays' second run. Andres Munoz would be called in at that point and allowed both inherited runners to score, setting Voth up for the eventual loss. Voth has suffered both his defeats in his last three appearances, but he retains a solid 3.73 ERA and 0.96 WHIP to go along with two victories and eight holds.

Voth (2-1) was charged with the extra-inning loss to the Marlins on Friday, allowing a walk-off RBI single on the one pitch he threw.
EDGE Analysis
Voth was asked to preserve a 2-2 tie when he entered in the 10th after both Ryne Stanek and Andres Munoz had already worked an inning apiece, but Voth immediately faltered by allowing a game-winning single to Tim Anderson that plated automatic runner Jake Burger. Despite the quick stumble Friday, Voth has been a picture of consistency in the later innings recently, allowing just one earned run in his last 12 appearances while generating an 0.43 WHIP, one win and six holds in the 9.1 innings covering that span.

Voth (2-0) got the win and was also credited with a hold against the Nationals on Sunday, firing a perfect eighth inning during which he recorded two strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Ryne Stanek struggled in the seventh inning while allowing two runs, narrowing the Mariners' lead to 6-5, but Voth served as a highly effective bridge to Andres Munoz in the ninth by retiring the side on a scant 11 pitches. Voth had allowed at least one earned run in three of his previous four outings -- including two straight -- but he still holds a respectable 3.80 ERA and impressive 0.98 WHIP across 19 appearances.

Voth (1-0) got the win over Atlanta on Monday, allowing a hit and striking out the side over one inning.
EDGE Analysis
Asked to keep the Mariners' deficit at one run when he entered in the ninth, Voth got matters off on the wrong foot by allowing a leadoff single to Jarred Kelenic. Subsequently faced with the daunting gauntlet of Ronald Acuna, Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley, Voth cranked it up several notches by striking out all three sluggers, the latter two swinging. He was then rewarded with the victory after Mitch Garver slugged a walk-off two-run home run in the home half of the frame, putting a a fitting cap on Voth's fourth straight appearance without allowing an earned run. The veteran right-hander does not yet have a hold or save, but he's now carrying an impressive 2.84 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 12.2 innings.

Voth signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Mariners on Wednesday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old will have an additional year of team control in 2025, as well. Voth collected a 5.19 ERA and 34:15 K:BB over 34.2 innings in 2023 with the Orioles. He was used exclusively in relief last season during his time in the majors but has plenty of past starting experience and could operate in a swingman or long relief role in Seattle.
