Stevenson went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first steal of the rookie's major-league career, but highlights have been few and far between for Stevenson since his promotion, as he's gone just 6-for-33 with a 1:13 BB:K and is still looking for his first extra-base hit. Expect his playing time to dwindle once other Nats outfielders get healthier.

Stevenson will start in right field and bat eighth Tuesday against the Angels, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's the third consecutive start and second consecutive start against a left-handed pitcher for the lefty-hitting Stevenson. The back-to-back turns against same-handed pitching shouldn't be taken as a sign that Stevenson has settled into an everyday role, as the Nationals' doubleheader Sunday along with Brian Goodwin's groin injury has factored into Stevenson's uptick in usage of late. Goodwin is being listed as day-to-day, so once he's back in the fold, it's expected that Stevenson will see his at-bats trail off.

Stevenson got the start in center field for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies, hitting leadoff and going 0-for-4.
EDGE Analysis
The Nats' No. 10 fantasy prospect has had an inauspicious start to his big-league career, going 1-for-10 with four strikeouts, but with Michael Taylor (oblique) just beginning to resume baseball activities, Stevenson likely isn't heading back to the minors anytime soon unless the team picks up a veteran backup outfielder at Monday's trade deadline.

Stevenson had his contract purchased from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson will help provide the Nationals with short-term outfield depth, as Chris Heisey (groin) was sent to the DL and Ryan Raburn was placed on the bereavement list in corresponding moves. To make room for Stevenson on the 40-man roster, the team transferred Jayson Werth to the 60-day DL. Stevenson won't start right away, however, as the Nationals will give Wilmer Difo a shot in left field for the series finale.

Stevenson will join the Nationals in Arizona on Sunday and is expected to have his contract selected from Triple-A Syracuse, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Nationals are down to two healthy outfielders heading into Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks with Chris Heisey (groin) likely bound for the disabled list and Ryan Raburn (personal) set to hit the bereavement list, so Stevenson could be in store for regular reps right away during his first trip to the big leagues. A second-round pick in 2015, Stevenson has climbed through the minor-league ranks quickly thanks to his impressive hit tool and quality speed. He's maintained a .280 average during his minor-league career, but has stumbled a bit at Double-A Harrisburg this season, hitting .246 with 13 extra-base knocks and nine steals.

Stevenson went 3-for-5 with a run scored, an RBI and three stolen bases in Triple-A Syracuse's win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old got promoted from Double-A at the beginning of May but needed some time to adjust against tougher competition, hitting .169 (20-for-118) through his first 31 games with Syracuse. Something seemed to click a couple of weeks ago for Stevenson, however, and in his last 15 games he's slashing .382/.414/.527 with seven multi-hit performances. He doesn't profile to ever supply much power, but his speed, center-field defense and ability to make contact should allow him to carve out a major-league role as a fourth outfielder down the road -- or perhaps even a starter in the mold of a Ben Revere or Denard Span.

Stevenson was promoted to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stevenson gets the nod after an impressive start to his year at Double-A, where he slashed .350/.429/.438 with 12 RBI and one stolen base in 80 at-bats (20 games). The Nationals' top pick in 2015, if Stevenson is able to carry his production with him to Triple-A, the 22-year-old could possibly be in consideration for a call-up should Michael Taylor and Rafael Bautista struggle to fill in for the injured Adam Eaton (knee).

Stevenson went 5-for-7 with a walk, a double, three RBI and four runs scored for Double-A Harrisburg in Monday's extra-inning win over Hartford.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old is on fire from the leadoff spot for Harrisburg to begin the season, slashing .381/.447/.429 through 10 games. Stevenson will likely profile as a glove-first fourth outfielder and pinch runner in the majors, but if his hit tool keeps developing at his rate he could emerge as a viable starting center fielder.

Stevenson was returned to the Nationals' minor league camp Monday, The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
He hit .304 during Grapefruit League action this spring, and his defense was as good as advertised in center field. Stevenson will need to continue progressing at the plate in the high minors this season if he wants to avoid being pigeon-holed as a future fourth outfielder in the majors, however.

Stevenson replaced Adam Eaton in center field during Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals, going 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a stolen base.
EDGE Analysis
After tearing up the Arizona Fall League this offseason, Stevenson has come into his first big league spring training and continued making noise at the plate. The 22-year-old will begin the season in the minors, but he could be competing for a starting spot with the Nats at this time next year.
