Suarez gave up three runs on five hits over four innings Friday. He walked one and struck out one in a loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
All of Friday's damage was done on a first-inning three-run homer off the bat off Wil Myers. Suarez failed to go five innings for the first time this month, breaking a streak of four straight five-inning appearances. He hadn't gone more than five innings in any of those starts, so he was consistent but not desirable for fantasy purposes. With an off day coming up Monday, there is a chance Suarez's next turn in the rotation is skipped, which would leave the rookie with just one more scheduled regular season start.

Suarez (3-4) lost after allowing two runs on five hits and one walk with two strikeouts in five innings during Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez held his own against St. Louis, but didn't get any run support. The 26-year-old rookie has been solid since rejoining the rotation in late August, allowing three earned runs or fewer in five consecutive starts. However, he has not pitched past the fifth inning in any of them, as the Giants have been cautious with his pitch counts. He only threw 60 pitches on Sunday, for instance, and has not topped 90 in any of his last five starts. Suarez will look to take his recent run of success on the road against the Padres on Friday.

Suarez allowed a run on six hits and two walks over five innings in a no-decision Tuesday against San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez hasn't throw more than five innings since he went six full frames July 3 against the Diamondbacks. He hasn't allowed more than one run in any of his previous four appearances, but he isn't going deep enough into games to rack up wins or strikeouts for his fantasy owners. Suarez hasn't earned a win since June 23 against the Pirates.

Suarez gave up three runs on six hits and a walk with two strikeouts over five innings in Wednesday's no-decision against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
It's not an impressive outing or even a good one, but considering that he was starting in Coors Field, Suarez deserves props for not getting blown up. Still, he allowed two homers and has now failed to pitch longer than five innings in three straight starts, leaving the rookie with little fantasy utility.

Suarez (3-3) gave up two earned runs on three hits and two walks over five innings in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Cubs. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
He had the misfortune of being up against a dominating Jon Lester and also surrendering some timely hits in the third. David Ross touched him up for an RBI double that plated Javier Baez in that frame, while Dexter Fowler contributed a run-scoring single later in the innning that plated the veteran backstop. The 26-year-old was otherwise solid, throwing 57 of 88 pitches for strikes. Suarez is expected to get at least one more turn in the rotation, which will come against the Rockies next Wednesday.

Suarez will toe the rubber for Friday's contest against the Cubs, Chris Haft of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez made will get at least two turns in the rotation for the Giants after rejoining the club for last Saturday's contest against the Braves. It was thought that Matt Cain would retake his spot in the rotation when activated from the disabled list, but he will reportedly pitch out of the bullpen when the move is made. It's no guarantee Suarez will remain in the rotation for the long haul, however.

Suarez fell to 3-2 with Saturday's loss to the Braves, as he allowed three runs on five hits and two walks across 4.1 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez was called up from the minors to start Saturday after Jake Peavy (back) was placed on the disabled list, and while he pitched well for the most part, he allowed a three-run home run to Matt Kemp in the fourth inning that decided the game. Suarez's immediate future has not been determined yet, and while the Giants will be without Peavy for at least another week, they could explore other options for the next turn through the rotation.

Suarez was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento and will start Saturday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
With Jake Peavy (back) moved to the DL, Suarez will return for his first major league start since July 3. Suarez has turned in mixed results at both levels this season and his strikeout upside is relatively limited, but he has limited the damage at home, holding opponents to eight runs in 25.1 innings at AT&T Park so far this year (2.84 ERA).

Suarez was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Suarez, along with teammate Matt Reynolds, were sent down to clear room for Will Smith and Matt Moore, who the Giants acquired on Monday. This season with the Giants, Suarez owns a 4.20 ERA in 16 appearances, six being starts. The 26-year-old will head back to Triple-A where he owns a 2.88 ERA in 25 innings.

Suarez gave up five runs on eight hits over three innings of relief Wednesday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
With Cain (hamstring) returning from the disabled list, Suarez was pushed back into a long relief role after posting a 4.02 ERA in six starts. He could find himself back in a starting role if Cain continues to pitch the way he did Wednesday. Regardless of whoever is starting, it would be wise to avoid both Cain and Suarez at this point.
