Lind is now hitting .276 with eight home runs and 22 RBI, but continues to lose fantasy value because of his inability to hit left-handed pitching. Despite already having three hits and a home run, he was lifted for a pinch-hitter in this game when the Diamondbacks brought in Oliver Perez to face him in the seventh inning.

Lind is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants. With Madison Bumgarner on the mound for San Francisco, there was never much question that Jason Rogers would start over Lind, who has just 24 at-bats against southpaws this season.

Lind is out of the lineup Friday. This should come as no surprise as the Braves have a good lefty, Alex Wood, on the mound Friday. Jason Rogers will get the start at first base and hit fifth.
