Haseley should see plenty of action this season but is unlikely to serve as the Phillies' everyday center fielder, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haseley is in a battle for playing time with Roman Quinn. Neither player was named the winner of that battle before spring training was paused back in March, and neither is likely to be considered the winner once play resumes. If the Phillies play the matchups, though, expect Haseley to start quite frequently, as he hits left-handed and is likely to get the nod against most right-handers.

Haseley is expected to be given the chance to prove he's worthy of an everyday role during a potential 2020 campaign, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2017 eighth-overall pick made the jump to the majors last season despite playing just 18 games at the Triple-A level and held his own, posting a .266/.324/.396 slash line in 67 games -- passable marks for a player whose outfield defense graded out well by both DRS and UZR. A repeat of those numbers might not be enough to keep Haseley from losing time to speedy fourth outfielder Roman Quinn, but he could get the chance at the start of the season to prove he can ascend to another level at the plate.

Haseley (concussion) will start in center field and bat leadoff in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Haseley will check back into the lineup for the first time in six days after clearing the concussion protocol. Given the brevity of his absence, Haseley should have plenty of time to pick up competitive at-bats and get himself ready for Opening Day. The 23-year-old is projected to begin the season in an everyday role while Andrew McCutchen (knee) remains on the injured list.

The Phillies placed Haseley in the concussion protocol Tuesday, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haseley was initially only revealed to have suffered a cut on his forehead when he exited Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Blue Jays after going face-first into the outfield while attempting to make a diving catch. Evidently, Haseley's follow-up tests determined that he had gotten concussed on the play, so he'll likely remain out of the spring lineup for at least a few days.

Haseley left Tuesday's game against Toronto after injuring his face while diving for a ball in the outfield, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The nature and severity of Haseley's injury are not yet known. The 23-year-old lines up as the Phillies' Opening Day center fielder, though a significant absence this spring could change that.

General manager Matt Klentak said Wednesday that he expects Haseley to be the team's regular center fielder in 2020, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Roman Quinn was also mentioned as a possibility, though Quinn has missed a ton of time due to injury and struggled in his limited opportunities in 2019. Haseley also mostly struggled in his debut season, striking out in a quarter of his plate appearances and posting just a .531 OPS without the platoon edge. However, Haseley was a slight plus defensively, showed improvement in September, and his numbers at the upper levels of the minors suggest he has a better handle of the strike zone than he showed last season. Odubel Herrera was not mentioned by Klentak and does not seem to be in the Phillies' plans.

Haseley isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Haseley went 0-for-2 at the dish in Sunday's series finale against the Red Sox, though he did reach base twice on a pair of walks. Scott Kingery draws the start in center field and will hit fifth Tuesday.

Haseley went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, a pair of walks and another run scored in Thursday's win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Haseley gave the Phillies the lead with a 402-foot, two-run homer in the second inning off Julio Teheran. He also walked and scored again in the eighth. Through 52 games this season, the 23-year-old outfielder has tallied five home runs and four stolen bases while batting .268/.330/.421.

Haseley is not starting Tuesday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Haseley sits for just the third time in the last 20 games. His .271/.338/.390 slash line over that stretch is decent and has been enough to make him a near-everyday player when combined with some strong outfield defense. Scott Kingery starts in center field in his absence.
