Nola (12-9) took the loss Saturday, coughing up seven runs on eight hits and three walks over 4.2 innings as the Phillies fell 7-5 to the Brewers. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Five of the eight hits off Nola went for extra bases, including a two-run blast by Carlos Santana in the fifth inning that helped chase the right-hander from the game. Nola saw his three-game win streak snapped, while the seven runs were the most he's allowed since he got tagged for eight by Arizona just over a year ago. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, likely to come at home next weekend against the Marlins.

Nola (12-8) earned the win Sunday, allowing one hit and one walk over seven scoreless innings against the Cardinals. He struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Nola was at his best Sunday, allowing just two men to reach base while going seven innings in a consecutive start. It's the third straight win for Nola, who's worked to a 2.63 ERA over his last four outings (24 innings). He lowered his ERA to 4.30 on the season with a 1.12 WHIP and 174:41 K:BB across 27 starts (167.1 innings) this season. Nola will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Milwaukee.

Nola (11-8) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk over seven innings against the Giants. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
It was a shaky start for Nola, allowing a pair of runs in his first three innings. However, he rebounded to blank the Giants over his subsequent four frames while allowing just one more hit. It was a much-needed effort from the 30-year-old Nola, who had struggled to a 6.75 ERA over his previous four starts. Overall, Nola sports a 4.49 ERA with a 1.15 WHIP and 165:40 K:BB across 26 starts (160.1 innings) this season. He's lined up for a home matchup with the Cardinals in his next outing.

Nola (10-8) picked up the win Wednesday, giving up four runs on four hits and four walks over five innings in a 9-4 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
An anticipated pitchers' duel between Nola and Kevin Gausman never materialized, but the Phillies' right-hander came away with his first win since July 18 thanks to an offensive outburst highlighted by Bryce Harper's first multi-homer game of the year. The four free passes were a season worst for Nola, who has now failed to last six innings in four straight starts while stumbling to a 6.75 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and 27:9 K:BB through 20 innings over that stretch. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, likely to come at home early next week against the Giants.

Nola did not factor into the decision Thursday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk over five innings against Washington. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
After clunkers in his previous two starts, Nola got back on track Thursday, working into the sixth inning before back-to-back singles led to his removal with the score tied 0-0. Phillies reliever, Matt Strahm, then allowed an RBI double to Ildemaro Vargas, marking Nola's only charged run. In five outings since the All-Star break, the 30-year-old fantasy stalwart holds a 1-2 record with a 4.91 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB across 29.1 innings during that stretch. He is currently slated to face Toronto on the road next week.

Nola (9-7) took the loss Saturday, allowing seven runs (five earned) on nine hits and three walks over 4.2 innings against the Pirates. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Nola appeared to be on track for a solid outing Saturday, striking out four of the first six batters he faced through two scoreless innings to open the game. However, the right-hander would then go on to surrender a leadoff home run to Liover Peguero to open the bottom of third before allowing another six runs over the following two innings. It marked Nola's fourth start this season in which he's allowed at least five earned runs and just the second time that he was unable to make it through five innings. On a positive note, he's now recorded at least six strikeouts in five straight starts to only four walks.

Nola did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on six hits over seven innings against the Guardians. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Nola struggled with power Sunday, surrendering solo homers to Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez to mark his third time allowing multiple home runs in his last five starts. Despite giving up a pair of homers, Nola fanned seven batters to notch his fourth consecutive outing with at least six punchouts. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start during a three-game road series against the Pirates this weekend.

Nola (9-6) earned the win against the Brewers on Tuesday after he allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and no walks over 7.1 innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander threw 71 of his 98 pitches for a strike and induced 18 whiffs as he didn't surrender any home runs for just the fourth time through 20 starts this year. The long ball has been a problem for Nola in 2023 with 21 homers allowed after he gave up just 19 all of last season. The 30-year-old has a 4.27 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 126:30 K:BB across 126.1 innings and tentatively lines up to next take the mound this weekend in Cleveland.

Nola (8-6) was charged with the loss Sunday against the Marlins after he gave up five runs (four earned) on eight hits and no walks across six innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
It was an unceremonious close to the first half for Nola, as he surrendered three home runs in a start for the second time this season. The right-hander came into Sunday's contest having won three of his past four outings, but he's now allowed at least four earned runs in 10 of his 19 starts this year. Nola enters the All-Star break with an underwhelming 4.39 ERA though 119 innings, though his 1.11 WHIP and 120:30 K:BB provide some reason for optimism.

Nola (8-5) earned the win Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk over 7.1 innings in a 3-1 win over the Rays. He struck out 12.
EDGE Analysis
Nola came out on the winning end of a pitchers duel, besting Zach Eflin, who gave up two runs and struck out nine across seven innings, to claim his eighth win of the campaign. Nola tied his season high in strikeouts and carried a shutout into the eighth inning but surrendered a solo homer to Wander Franco and was pulled. The 30-year-old has been battling some severe inconsistencies across his last six starts, allowing one or fewer earned runs in three starts but surrendering at least four runs in the other three. The primary cause of his struggles has been the long ball, as Nola has surrendered 18 homers through 18 appearances, tied for the eighth most in baseball. However, he's lined up to make his next start against the Marlins, who rank 24th in home runs per game.
