Once the iPhone app and rotisserie / total points options are complete. We will begin working on our next series of upgrades. Below are our current thoughts - please let us know if you disagree with our priority order.
I would move the message board up to 2 and move the email draft down to 4. The message board, both in leagues and the forums, is awful. Just don't make it like yahoo's message boards, those may be the worst ever.
I would move injury updates to 3. Sorry, but last football season was a joke. Owen Daniels went in IR, then was off, on, off, etc probably 45 times. Lynch and Marshall were suspended, then not, then suspended again another 45 times. For leagues that only allow players that are on IR or Suspended to be placed on the IR, this is a major problem.
I would then drop the chat down to 6.
There are many other things that should be on this list though. Show commish actions, auction drafts, private messages that don't use email (should coincide with message board fixing I guess), etc.
Yeah, I remember that to..But just because your roster says illegal it doesnt mean you have to take them off IR, they'll eventually be IR eligible again...But yeah, I agree injury updates needs to be at or near the top of priorities..
I dont get the message board stuff though..Who cares?..I know its a mess but its just a message board and most peeps can find better things to do instead of sifting through and chatting on a message board..Baseball season starts in less than 3 weeks, i'd much rather have flea focus more on important things like getting the h2h cat leagues ready, starting icons, injury updates, transaction limits, etc, etc.
True, but you can't make roster moves if you have a player on IR that doesn't qualify for it.
Also, if you noticed, they said they were going to work on these things AFTER the roto/H2H stuff is done, so the message board won't infringe on that time. Starting icons aren't necessary. It takes 3 seconds to check if a pitcher or other player is starting that day. After the injury report nonsense over the past couple of seasons, would you really trust a starting icon?
Haha, yeah I noticed that but there still isnt a specific time on it, for all we know "complete" means 3 weeks from now..
And yes, starting icons are necessary and i'd trust them because those would be coming from a live boxscore and daily leagues need that..It might not take long to do the searching but you still have to come back and make the replacements if they arent starting..When you work all day, thats not fun to be in a time crunch when you get home...I dont think people realize how much of a pain in the ass it'll be for daily leagues without starting icons.
Im not arguing with you Voltron or the other guy that said message boards should be #2..Just saying over all, message boards and cbox's shouldnt even be a priority when baseball season is so close..Lets get the important things done and worry about the other stuff later.
3 weeks? Aren't you being a little too optimistic? Roto should have been up and ready by now to make sure people know about it prior to the season. It reminds me of last year when they just threw baseball out there mid-season.

If flea wants to make message boards and real time chat boxes a priority over the more important things, then so be it and I wont say anything.
