I sent out multiple trade offers. One of them was sent in error. Of course the recipient accepted. I should have spoken to him, but instead I dropped a player to invalidate the trade. This is a money league and I am also the commish. This was yesterday and waivers have since been processed also impacting some of the players involved. I am getting pressure to correct it from the trade recipient (first year team owner) and veteran team owners.
While it is not ideal, I also didn't violate any league rules.
We went through with the trade, and league voted a new rule. There are no veto's on trades in our league anyway, so we implemented a new rule. All accepted trades are now immediately commish executed. No more 24HR waiting period.

Just to clear this up, I did come to terms on the trade and the issue was resolved. It sucks but it is what it is. Lesson learned.

I hope more than 1 lesson was learned in this case :)

What did you end up doing to rectify the situation?
