I want poll members here on a subject that seems to make some members mad and others ok with!!
I commish a few leagues where I will set the lineups for members who didn't check in or are inactive!! I usually wait til 12;30 pm on Sunday to do this. Now this is for ONLY their Bye players and feel this is fair to other owners as it brings parity to the league!!
I believe no owner should get a easy win do to inactive owner or a owner that forgot about their byes!!
What do you think??
This will help me set rules for next season and aldo keep leagues intact for next season!!
Remember only byes and for owners who are inactive or not signed in for a couple of days!!
Setting lineups for teams that are inactive (i.e. their owner's name has been grayed out) and teams with no owners is definitely acceptable, but not in any other cases (i.e. a person hasn't signed in within a couple of days).
The lineups should be set by using the players with the highest average PPG, or ranking depending on what the commish decides. If an inactive team has, for example, Chester Taylor starting and has MJD on the bench but both are active for the current week, MJD should be placed in the lineup over Taylor.
It is unfair to the other teams in the league if a team gets to face an opponent with bye week players in starting position.
