Ughhh. That's a Flea pet peerve of mine. A few years back, In an early draft, I drafted a guy as my 3B Flea changed him to 2B before the season started. Based on a suggestion that they update positions to players projected positions.
I just heard from Flea Flicker. They said they do not take positions away during the season. They will remove a position in the off season if he didn't qualify during the season. Sounds like problem solved!

does anyone know how many games a player needs at a new position to be qualified at that position according to flea flicker ?

I believe it is 7 games started to gain eligibility at a new position.

Do you know if a player loses eligibility for a position he hasn't played this year? Or, does he keep it until next year?
