Drew Brees threw a pass that was intercepted by K. Moore of the Redskins. Moore returned the ball to the Washington 44, where he was stripped of the ball by Robert Meachem, who then ran for the touchdown.
Per our policy regarding these types of plays, this is an offensive fumble recovery touchdown for Meachem and NOT a defensive fumble recovery touchdown for the Saints. The intent of having a defensive unit on a fantasy team is to own the defensive players of that team; clearly the Saints defensive unit was never on the field at any time during the play.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
**Makes sense and I believe FLEA needs to take away that TD
Yes, he has 8 offensive TDs and all are pass receptions on the NFL online statistics. Everyone knows it was a defensive TD. It's how the Flea defines it for fantasy football and they have ruled.
However, the NFL online stats are incomplete when the points are scored in unusual situations. The player's online stats are abridged when they do not fit in the categories for the position which he is listed. Offensive players that score in a defensive situation do not have their points show up online.
When the points do not show up on the NFL online site, it makes it difficult for fantasy sites to report them.
You can see his fumble return TD under his career stats tab on the NFL site.
I would have given the Saints defense a forced fumble, a recovered fumble and a TD. I would have given Meachem a TD and distance in leagues that award points for all player TDs.

Of course it's a defensive touchdown. Are you disregarding NFL rules?
Hell, Even Meachem knew he was on defense!

Not my call though.
