I want to try an email draft for the first time and I have some questions and concerns.
First I would like some idea of how the draft works. Do people make their pics from the PC through a login or do they actually email pics to the commissioner.
If people miss their draft window is there an auto draft option that uses the user's pre ranked players list?
If the draft does not finish in time can you stop the email draft and then schedule a live draft with the remaining pics? If so then please explain how please also let me know what else to look out for. Thanks.
This my 1st email draft also. I have 1st pick. Do I enter into draft room and select player like live draft? Or do I email it to league and Commishioner adds him to my team?
No worries. Minus the option to auto draft via draftee ranks... only allowing the commish to pick a player that is not on his or his friends list(aka an over rated scrub)... the rest of the email aka slow draft is fun and easy. Good luck.
I am sure the ranks are in a datastore and it would be easy to add a button for action to draft by target team's rankings, that joins the undrafted and the rank... sorting by personal rank and picking the first player without roster conflict. So easy, yet over a decade later.... still not there.
