We have a 4 team tie for 3 spots. Our tiebreaker set up is 1). Head to head. 2) division record for in division ties only. 3) Total points. The tie breaker says no progress was made on h2h and it went to division rank to eliminate a player. But it should go to points for and knock out the player with the lowest points scored and then do seeding by h2h and then points scored. But it gave a division rank to knock out the first player.
We have three divisions with four teams in each division. The one who got eliminated was the third seed in his division. But the one who got eliminated, has the head to head and points for advantage over one of the two seed teams that he is tied with.
We have no setting set for division rank. I’m now in a position where I either need the division rank thing explain to me, or for the software to update it, or make a manual override. I don’t want to make a manual override because it looks fishy.
If you click on Playoffs and see the explanation on the left hand side? H2H was only ineffective for the 4-way tiebreaker, then it used the 2nd tiebreaker (division record) to remove Jabbo from the 4 way tie. This created a 3-way tie, and back to the 1st tie-breaker, H2H which advanced Walter (#1WC). Next, 3-way with Jabbo, High Yield, Good Vibes. H2H advances High Yield (#2WC).
Two-way tie, Jabbo and Good Vibes with Good Vibes(#3WC) advancing on Division Rank. None of these tiebreakers went to the listed 3rd tiebreaking rule which is points.
I saw that. Jaboowins division record was 3-3 as wells walters lobos, and high yeild. So division record lost him the 2 way tie as it should have against tan thighs, and in turn, lost him the 4 way, even though 2 other teams had division records of 3-3 but in other divisions. Do I have that right?
In rules, #2 Tiebreaker, Division Record is for "Same Division Only". That's what bumped Jabbo and his 3-3 division record out of the 4-way tie because Good Vibes had a 5-1 division record in the same division (your league calls it "Division-2).
