Dupuis supplied all the Penguins' offense Friday, potting a pair of goals in a 2-1 win over the Maple Leafs. Dupuis looks to be revitalized playing next to his old buddies Chris Kunitz and Sidney Crosby, as he converted a beautiful centering pass from Sid for the game winner 15 seconds into the third period. This was a nice rebound for the Pens after last game's 5-0 shellacking at the hands of the Rangers, so it'll be interesting to see just how long coach Mike Johnston keeps Dupuis on the top line. One thing, however, is for certain -- as long as he's playing with Crosby or Evgeni Malkin, Duper is a fantasy must-start.

Dupuis skated with Chris Kunitz and Sidney Crosby on Tuesday after the Rangers jumped out to a commanding lead over Pittsburgh. Coach Mike Johnston mixed lines, shaking things up in a 5-0 loss, but that was likely more of a function of the lopsided score than a permanent change. Dupuis has slumped with just one assist in his last six games while skating with Evgeni Malkin and Blake Comeau. Now that Beau Bennett has been added back into the mix, coach Johnston has more options with the extra depth.

Dupuis supplied a power-play goal and an assist in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Devils. Dupuis' power-play goal over the weekend against Nashville was only his third of the last eight seasons, but he's now got two tallies on the man advantage in two games. It doesn't seem likely that he'll develop into a huge contributor on special teams, but he's been plenty productive in most any circumstance he's been on the ice this season. The aging winger is averaging a point per game and has four points over his last three outings.

Dupuis tallied a power-play goal Saturday for just the third time in his last eight seasons. The Penguins have already given Dupuis almost as much power-play time (10:54) as he saw in 39 games last year (11:21). The winger's goal against Nashville represents his career 400th NHL point. Dupuis now has six points (3G, 3A) in seven games.

Dupuis potted a goal in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings. The winger's first-period tally marked his first point in three games since returning from the scary incident last week that resulted in him being stretchered off the ice. Dupuis has played his usual minutes in the mid-teens since returning to action, and as Thursday's one-goal, four-shot performance revealed, the veteran's health doesn't seem to be a concern.

Just two days after taking a stinger to the neck, Dupuis skated just under 16 minutes (15:54 TOI) against the Islanders on Saturday. His night was mostly uneventful -- he registered one shot and one block -- but the fact that he was able to play was remarkable in itself. Dupuis saw 1:53 TOI on the power play as coach Mike Johnston continues to utilize the forward in different ways than did former coach Dan Bylsma.

Dupuis (arm) was on the ice for pregame warmups and looks like he'll play Saturday against the Islanders, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. With the usual 20 skaters on the ice for warmups, the Penguins don't even appear to be preparing for a potential late scratch for Dupuis, signaling that he'll receive clearance to return to the lineup. Incredibly, Dupuis won't miss any games after he was stretched off the ice Thursday night with what looked to be a serious injury.

Dupuis (arm) said that the Penguins would reach a decision on his availability for Saturday night's tilt with the Islanders over the afternoon, Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. For the second consecutive day, Dupuis was moving around without any apparent issues at morning skate, giving him a legitimate shot at not missing any time due to the arm injury. He was skating on his usual spot on the Pens' second line, rejoining mates Evgeni Malkin and Brandon Sutter.

Dupuis (arm) has been medically cleared to play, Josh Yohe of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. Coach Mike Johnston said Dupuis would be evaluated during Saturday's morning skate, before the team determines if the winger will be available for the game later that day against the Islanders. Dupuis looked like he would be in store for a long absence after he was removed from the ice on a stretcher Thursday, so it would be quite remarkable if he wasn't forced to miss any games at all.

Dupuis (arm) skated on his own Friday, but didn't take part in the Penguins' practice, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Even though he didn't join his teammates for full practice, merely seeing Dupuis on the ice beforehand has to bring some relief for the Penguins. The winger was stretchered off the ice during Thursday's game following a check to the back that resulted in Dupuis falling on his arm and experiencing numbness. During Friday's skate, Dupuis was able to handle and shoot the puck with no apparent issues. It still seems more likely than not that Dupuis will be held out of Saturday's game against the Islanders, but fortunately, it looks like he'll avoid a long-term absence.
