He notched 52 goals and 178 points over 654 career contests with the Blue Jackets, Avalanche, Rangers, Bruins, Golden Knights and Senators. The 36-year-old defender also had 17 points in 55 playoff outings.

Smith.

Holden's absence will last another three games at a minimum after he missed Tuesday's contest versus the Islanders. The 35-year-old defenseman doesn't have an official timeline to return. Jacob Larsson should stay in the lineup while Holden is out.

The blueliner's primary fantasy value will come in formats that value defensive stats, like hits and blocks, limiting him to a mid-range option. With Holden out of action, the Sens are expected to call up Jacob Larsson from the minors.

Holden is a defenseman averaging only 16:22 of ice time, so this severely limits his fantasy prospects. He'd been on the radar following a 34-point season with the Rangers in 2016-17, but that's been the ceiling for the journeyman between six different teams and 12 years of NHL service time.
