Holden had an assist during Saturday's 3-0 win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Holden picked up his fourth assist on the year, helping Las Vegas to a fairly one sided victory on Saturday. Through 14 games the defender has only four points, so he isn't really on the fantasy radar.

Holden produced a primary assist in Wednesday's 5-2 road loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Take all of the offense you can get from a third-pairing defenseman like Holden. In 2016-17, the journeyman actually managed a respectable 34 points with the Rangers, but he only reached half of that total between the Blueshirts and Bruins last year. While Holden has eclipsed 100-plus hits in six straight seasons, he simply doesn't provide enough offense to appease most fantasy owners.

Holden is projected to be on the third pair with Jon Merrill for Thursday's season home opener versus the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Holden signed a two-year deal with Vegas on July 1, when the free-agent signing period opened. The defenseman generated 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) over 73 games between the Rangers and Bruins last season.

Holden inked a two-year deal worth $2.2 million annually with the Golden Knights, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holden scored four goals and 17 points in 73 games last season with the Rangers and Bruins. The 31-year-old blueliner has averaged just about 20 minutes of ice time per game in his career and should probably expect a similar role with Vegas. Holden will likely suit up as a top-four defenseman next season and could get back to scoring 20-plus points.

Holden finished up the 2017-18 regular season with four goals and 17 points in 73 games.
EDGE Analysis
After being acquired by the Bruins from the Rangers as the NHL trade deadline approached, Holden logged a goal and five points in 18 games, while helping his new team weather back line injuries. Heading into the playoffs Holden slots in as Boston's No. 6 or No. 7 defenseman, but he'd be the first player to gain ice time in the event of an injury to one of the team's regular blueliners. Looking down the road, Holden is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent upon the completion of the current campaign and it's unclear how committed the Bruins will be to keeping Holden around, with some talented youngsters moving up the ranks in the team's organization.

Holden will make his Bruins debut Thursday, when the Bruins play host to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Holden missed four straight games following his trade from the Rangers on Feb. 20. A skilled two-way defenseman, he's projected to assume a spot on the No. 2 power-play unit on the right side of rookie sensation Charlie McAvoy. With 107 points (35 goals, 72 assists) over 356 career contests between the Blue Jackets, Avalanche and Rangers, Holden isn't exactly a game changer in the fantasy realm, but a serviceable option nonetheless.

Holden (not injury related) won't dress for Tuesday's game against the Hurricanes, Fluto Shinzawa of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Bruce Cassidy doesn't want to rush Holden into the lineup after he was traded to the Bruins from the Rangers a week ago. Holden doesn't light up the scoresheet -- three goals and 12 points in 55 games this season -- but he's dished out 114 hits in that span to mark his fifth straight season with over 100 checks.

Holden, who was acquired from the Rangers on Tuesday, is not a sure bet to debut with the Bruins on Sunday, when the team squares off against the Sabres in Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
"It's gonna be a day-to-day, game-to-game decision," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. "No word on tomorrow. Let's get through tonight and see what we've got. He will get in there eventually. But I don't want to pinpoint." Holden is a quality two-way defenseman who established a career-high 34 points for the Rangers in 80 games last season (12 in 55 this year). As an added bonus, he routinely posts 100-plus hits over a given campaign. Of course, the amount of ice time he ultimately receives will help determine just how excited we should be about him from a fantasy standpoint.

Holden was traded to the Bruins on Tuesday in exchange for Rob O'Gara and a 2018 third-round pick.
EDGE Analysis
It was no secret that the Bruins were in the market for some blue line depth heading into the stretch run and they apparently got their man in Holden. The 30-year-old's production this season has been a bit of a disappointment, but the 2016-17 campaign that saw him record 34 points and a plus-13 rating serves as an excellent reminder that he can be an effective force in the right role. In Boston, that role will likely be on the third defensive pairing, as the team's top four is already quite secure, so he figures to be a better option for real life purposes rather than in the fantasy realm.

Holden's point drought reached five games in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Holden had the best offensive season of his career with 11 goals and 34 points in 80 games last year, but his scoring has dropped off sharply in his second campaign on Broadway. Through 40 appearances this time around, Holden has put up just three goals and eight points. At least being paired with two-way stud Ryan McDonagh for most of the season has allowed Holden to maintain a solid plus-6 rating.
