Bolland tallied a short handed, empty-net goal and a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Senators.

It was an especially effective game for Bolland on special teams as he notched his first short handed point of the season. Injuries have limited the 28-year-old to just 47 games this year, but he's been productive enough in that span to tally 20 points. If Bolland can find the back of the net with more consistency -- his shooting percentage of 7.6% is down from a 14.1% career average -- he could be worth a look in deeper formats.

Bolland tallied an assist on Jimmy Hayes' first period goal in their 2-1 win over the Bruins on Saturday.

Bolland has struggled to stay healthy this season, but has still put up 19 points (4-15-19) in 43 games. He's had a productive March since he returned on Mar. 12, putting up three points in six games while also picking up six penalty minutes. He hasn't scored more than 20 points since the 2011-12 season in Chicago, and thus has limited fantasy value.

Bolland notched an empty-net goal in Saturday's shutout win over the Hurricanes.

Bolland has produced a point in both of his first two games back from an upper-body injury. He's seen less than 14 minutes of ice time on both occasions to go along with minimal power-play action, making it unlikely that he'll be able to sustain the scoring run much longer.

Bolland (upper body/illness) was activated from injured reserve Thursday.

Bolland has been out since Feb. 21, primarily due to the upper-body injury before a bout with the stomach flu set in last week. The 28-year-old has been barely able to stay on the ice this season and hasn't been effective when healthy, contributing only three goals and 16 points over 37 games. Don't expect the former Stanley Cup hero to take on a featured scoring role with the Panthers.

Bolland (illness) filled in on the second line in practice Wednesday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Bolland had suffered an upper body injury prior to his illness, so seeing him practice consecutive days bodes well for his chances to play Thursday against the Jets. Barring a setback, he should be ready to play. Bolland has three goals and 13 assists in 37 games played. He hasn't played since Feb. 21, so you may want to wait and see how he performs once he gets back on the ice.

Bolland (illness) was on the ice for the Panthers' practice Monday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Bolland was expected to return to the lineup Thursday, and his presence at practice Monday does nothing to deter that. Assuming he doesn't suffer any recurrences over the next few days, he should be good to go.

Bolland (upper body) is expected to return to the Panthers' lineup next Thursday against the Jets, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Any concerns about Bolland's injury appear to have subsided at this point. The forward was actually slated to return a few days ago, before he became one of many Panthers players to fall victim to the stomach flu. He seems to be over the virus and was on the ice during Saturday's morning skate, but the Panthers will exercise some caution and keep him out for another game. Bolland should have plenty of time to nurse himself back to 100 percent health before next Thursday.

Bolland (upper body) has been skating and is very close to making his return, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Bolland has missed the last five games, but he may make it back for Tuesday's contest against Toronto. Once healthy, Bolland will likely replace Vincent Trocheck as the third-line center, even though Trocheck has made a decent case to keep the job.

Bolland (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Friday.

The placement on injured reserve indicates Bolland will miss his fourth straight game Saturday, and it's unclear when he might be ready to return. He has yet to resume skating since suffering the apparent injury during last weekend's match against the Senators.

Bolland (upper body) wasn't present for the Panthers' morning skate Thursday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

The Panthers were listing Bolland as day-to-day as recently as Sunday, but the fact that he hasn't resumed skating with the team suggests he's not as close to a return as his designation would imply. Bolland will miss a third straight game Thursday against the Blackhawks and looks likely to miss more action beyond that.
