Bolland (groin) is expected to travel with the Panthers on their four-game road trip beginning Sunday in Anaheim, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Bolland is far from a sure thing to play for all four games of the trip, but indicates that he's starting to make some progress with his recovery from the injury. The veteran will miss his ninth straight game with the injury Friday against the Islanders, but it appears the Panthers are viewing him as day-to-day at this point.

Bolland (groin) could return to the lineup soon, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports. He won't play Tuesday against the Sharks, but it sounds like Bolland could get back in the lineup Friday against the Islanders. The gritty center has yet to record a point in four games this season.

Bolland (lower body) has been placed on injured reserve Friday,George Richards of the Miami Herald reports Bolland had only played the first four games of the season before sustaining the injury and did not have any points and only four penalty minutes. This stint on IR is retroactive to October 17th which would make him eligible to return to action as soon as tomorrow against the Flyers. Bolland has had injury problems over the last couple of seasons, including playing only 23 games with the Maple Leafs last season.

Bolland (lower body) will not return to action Saturday against the Coyotes, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. With Bolland again failing to take part in Friday's practice, the Panthers felt comfortable ruling him out as an option for Saturday. After the game against the Coyotes, the Panthers won't play again until Oct. 30, affording Bolland some needed recovery time. If Bolland fails to return to health by that point, the Panthers could choose to place him on injured reserve.

Bolland (lower body) hasn't resumed skating yet, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The Panthers are hoping to have Bolland back in time for Saturday's tilt with the Coyotes, but that doesn't seem promising at this juncture. Bolland hadn't been producing much prior to suffering the injury, going scoreless and attempting only three shots in four games.

Bolland (lower body) won't play Monday against the Avalanche, Steve Goldstein of FOX Sports Florida reports. It didn't take long for the health-averse Bolland to fall victim to his first injury of the season, as he'll sit out for the second straight game. Brandon Pirri fills in for him as the Panthers' third-line center once again.

Bolland (lower body) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Capitals, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. As anticipated, Bolland wasn't able to recover in time from the injury suffered Friday night to suit up for the second game of the Panthers' back-to-back. Brandon Pirri will step in as the third-line center, with Bolland's status for Tuesday's game against the Avalanche in question.

Bolland left Friday's game with a lower-body injury, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports. The indication is that Bolland isn't expected to play Saturday either, with Brandon Pirri in line to play in his place. He is listed as day-to-day for now, but the team should update his status in the future.

Bolland (illness) will play in Thursday's game against the Lightning, Steve Goldstein of FOX Sports Florida reports. Bolland was held out of last weekend's preseason finale due a bout with the flu, but he returned to practice a few days ago and is apparently fit to play. He'll center the third line in his Panthers debut, with Sean Bergenheim and Tomas Fleischmann flanking him on either side.

Bolland has the flu and was scratched from Saturday's preseason finale against the Lightning, the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Harvey Fialkov reports. Bolland missed Thursday's preseason game with the illness as well, but with a few days of rest, he'll likely be available for the Oct. 9 regular-season opener against Tampa Bay.
