Ryan Grant missed Packers practice Wednesday with an undisclosed injury. No injury has been announced for Grant. He finished Week 10 with just eight carries and one reception, and is droppable in 10- and 12-team leagues.

Ryan Grant rushed the ball eight times for six yards in the Packers' Week 10 win over the Vikings, and also added one catch for 17 yards through the air. Grant is nowhere near as explosive as main option James Starks, and since neither of them are tremendously productive it makes sense to drop Grant if you haven't already. Aside from a 92-yard performance in Week 3, he is averaging 17.7 rushing yards per game and hasn't scored on the year.

Ryan Grant carried the ball nine times for just 25 yards in Sunday's win over the Rams, adding two catches for 27 yards. Grant got the "start," but was again in a strict rotation with James Starks, often alternating entire series. His second second straight quiet performance since returning from a bruised kidney in Week 5 leaves with with 200 yards on 48 carries, which is good for a 4.2 YPC. Aside from his 92-yard effort against the Bears in Week 3, Grant has looked every bit a low-end RB3 this season.

Ryan Grant carried the ball just seven times for 18 yards in Sunday's win over the Falcons. He added one catch for six yards. Grant received just four carries to James Starks' 11 after losing a fumble (his first since Week 2 2009) on Green Bay's opening drive. A quiet night probably should't be considered surprising for a player coming off a bruised kidney, but Grant did not run with nearly as much power or quickness as Starks this evening, and looked like Green Bay's clear-cut RB2. That being said, he should be a strong flex play in Week 6 when the Packers play host to St. Louis' bottom-ranked run defense.

Ryan Grant (kidney) practiced fully again on Friday and is listed as probable for Week 5. He didn't miss a single practice rep all week. Grant is a candidate for 12-15 touches against the Falcons. He makes for a fairly low-upside flex option.

Ryan Grant (kidney) practiced again on Thursday. Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Grant has been practicing without hesitation and is "totally ready to go" this week against the Falcons. The bruised kidney is no longer an issue. Grant was riding the hot hand before last week's game, but his workload is a question mark on a weekly basis.

Ryan Grant (kidney) returned to Packers practice Wednesday. Grant's bruised kidney was a one-week injury. He's received medical clearance and will reenter Green Bay's hot-hand committee backfield Sunday at Atlanta.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Ryan Grant has been cleared to resume playing after a bruised kidney kept him out of Week 4. He should be able to practice fully all week. While Grant did outplay James Starks in Week 3, prior to the injury, Green Bay's backfield is likely to remain a hot-hand situation after Starks totaled 101 yards on 18 touches in Week 4. The Packers face the Falcons on Sunday Night Football this week. Grant and Starks will both be dicey flex options in fantasy leagues.

Ryan Grant (bruised kidney) said he "should be good to go" for next week's game against the Falcons. Grant said the team's medical staff gave him a thumbs-up after his latest test showed no blood in his urine. Considering he felt fine leading up to yesterday but just couldn't get cleared, we wouldn't expect Grant to be eased back in. In the first three weeks, Grant averaged 12.0 touches per game while James Starks was at 12.6.
