Jenkins (knee) will be placed on IR, ending his season.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins was brought in at the beginning of training camp as the Cardinals looked to strengthen the depth of their defensive backfield. However, the veteran suffered an ACL injury in Sunday's preseason game and had to be carted off the field. At 31, it's tough to guess where Jenkins will go from here and if he'll be revitalize his career after a year on the sidelines.

Jenkins was carted off the field with a knee injury during Sunday's preseason matchup with the Texans, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins reportedly went down with a non-contact injury to his knee, which is extremely concerning for the Cardinals. While the severity of the injury remains unclear, we should hear more once the team's medical staff is able to undergo additional testing.

Jenkins (hand) returned to practice on Sunday, Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins had surgery for a broken hand at the start of August. He was expected to miss anywhere from 2-to-3 weeks, so his return Sunday appears to be on the early side of that original projection. Jenkins will have to battle for a role as a depth option at cornerback for the upcoming season.

Jenkins is scheduled to have surgery on his broken hand Monday and is expected to miss two-to-three weeks, FOX Sports 910 Phoenix reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins broke his hand during Friday's practice session, which came just shortly after he signed with the team in mid-July. Now that he'll be sidelined for a couple weeks, Asa Jackson and Shaun Prater could see more snaps at cornerback opposite Patrick Peterson, especially since Justin Bethel (foot) remains on the PUP list.

Jenkins is out indefinitely after he suffered a broken bone in his hand during Friday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins was signed by the Cardinals after spending the previous two seasons with Tampa Bay. He figured to have a chance at starting opposite Patrick Peterson with Justin Bethel's health in question entering the season. There is currently no timetable for his return.

Jenkins signed a contract with the Cardinals on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins, an eight-year veteran cornerback, heads to Arizona after spending the past two seasons in Tampa Bay. Last year with the Buccaneers, Jenkins totaled 14 tackles and five passes defended as he started in five games. The Cardinals have made it clear they are open to competition for the starting cornerback position alongside Patrick Peterson. While many expect Justin Bethel to be the starter in Week 1, Jenkins, along with rookies Brandon Williams and Harlan Miller, could make a run for the spot.

Jenkins logged 51 snaps in place of the injured Johnthan Banks in Week 5, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins only produced a tackle and pass defensed over those 51 plays, but figures to continue to start after the bye week if Banks is not ready for a return. The veteran corner is receiving his first meaningful playing time since his stint with the Raiders in 2013.

Jenkins is inactive Sunday against the Saints, Greg Auman of the Tampa Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins is the backup at right cornerback to Jonathan Banks. He typcially provides depth at the position, and the Bucs could've used that depth against the potent Saints' passing game.

Jenkins (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins missed the Bucs' ugly Week 1 loss to the Titans, but his presence likely wouldn't have made any difference, as he only appears to be the fourth or fifth cornerback.

Jenkins (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Joe Kania of the team's official website reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jenkins was inactive in the opener with the injury, and has still only stepped on the field for one game in just over a season with the team. Despite the fact that a pectoral injury caused him to miss 15 games in his first season with the Bucs, the team sufficiently valued his experience and depth to re-sign him to a 1-year deal in the offseason. The eighth-year pro played in all four of the Bucs' preseason contests, totaling six tackles, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. Jenkins is currently slotted as the third-string right cornerback behind Tim Jennings and starter Johnthan Banks.
