In addition to the Jaguars, free agent Laurent Robinson is also reportedly drawing strong interest from the Cardinals and Cowboys. Both teams are pushing hard to keep Robinson out of Jacksonville, but the Jaguars are still scheduled to be his first visit. The early interest in Robinson doesn't bode well for the Cowboys' chances of retaining him.

Free agent Laurent Robinson will reportedly visit the Jaguars on Tuesday. A wide receiver market than once looked exceptionally deep took a hit with re-signings, leaving the second tier to draw immediate free agent interest. Robinson apparently has the size, physicality, and red-zone chops to make up for his checkered injury history. The Cowboys are expected to try to keep him in Dallas as well.

ESPN's John Clayton believes the Cowboys have a "great chance" of re-signing free agent Laurent Robinson. Dallas' chances are aided by a historically strong receiver market and Robinson's checkered injury history. As a potential one-hit-wonder, it's hard to imagine another team attempting to lure him away with substantial guarantees.

Coach Jason Garrett calls free agent Laurent Robinson "definitely a guy we're targeting and want to bring back." Due to a technicality with Robinson's 2011 contract, the Cowboys can't re-sign the receiver before the market opens on March 13. Considering his injury history, Dallas may be able to bring him back at a reasonable price in a deep wide receiver market.

The Cowboys cannot re-sign free agent Laurent Robinson before the market opens on March 13 because he played for a "minimum salary benefit" in 2011. The sides can talk, but Robinson can't sign on the dotted line until free agency begins. The salary benefit allowed Robinson to count $463,000 against last year's cap despite his $685,000 salary. The Titans have the same dilemma with free agent S Jordan Babineaux. This may increase the chances that Robinson signs elsewhere, especially if he likes what he sees on the market.

ESPN Dallas' Bryan Broaddus "would not be surprised" if the Cowboys' front office allows free agent Laurent Robinson to walk this offseason. A former scout, Broaddus appears to be reading tea leaves as opposed to gathering inside information. Robinson's comments about staying in Dallas suggest the Cowboys would have a chance to keep him even if they don't make the highest offer.

Free agent Laurent Robinson reiterated Tuesday that his first choice is to re-sign with the Cowboys. "I'm loving wearing this jersey," Robinson said. "... But we'll see on March 13 when free agency starts. Hopefully my dream can come true and I can stay a Cowboy." Robinson's wife is ready to look at houses, envisioning her husband "possibly retiring in Dallas." Robinson will certainly attract more attention on the market this year than last.

The player rep for Laurent Robinson made it clear this week that he expects the free agent to attractive plenty of interest this offseason. Perhaps Robinson won't be an easy sign for the Cowboys after all. "He's got the age, height, speed and people can see what he can do," said the agent. Robinson wants to return to Dallas, but it sounds like he may explore the market to establish his value first.

Free agent Laurent Robinson made it clear Friday that his first choice is to return to Dallas in 2012. "I think I fit in good here," said Robinson. "... This is where I want to be. It doesn't matter if I'm the No. 1, 2 or 3." Robinson insists that money won't be the driving factor in his decision. It's music to the ears of the Cowboys as well as Robinson's Dynasty league owners after a career-best 54/858/11 line as a trusted outlet for Tony Romo.

Laurent Robinson caught four passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns in Dallas' Week 17 loss to the Giants. Just another day at the office for Dallas' breakout No. 3 receiver, who ends the 2011 season with 54 catches for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns in just 14 games. All 11 of his scores came in Week 8 or later. A deep threat who also has a knack for getting open in the red zone, Robinson is set to hit the open market. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has said re-signing Robinson will be a top priority. Robinson should enter 2012 as a WR3 with high-end WR2 upside, particularly if he stays in Dallas.
