When asked after the game if he's thought about replacing Orton with C.J. Manuel, Bills head coach Doug Marrone said, "Right now that hasn't crossed my mind."

Orton's fine play will most likely take a significant decline his next time out, as the Bills head out on bye in Week 9 before facing the top-ranked Chiefs' pass defense in Week 10.
