The Chiefs signed Ingram to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram will stay in Kansas City where he spent time on the practice squad last season after being waived by Arizona. The 2022 sixth-round pick ran the ball 35 times for 74 yards in eight games with Cardinals last season and will look to compete for a backup spot behind Isiah Pacheco.

The Chiefs reverted Ingram to the practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram was called up as insurance for the Chiefs with Isaiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) listed as questionable ahead of Week 17. Although Edwards-Helaire didn't end up playing, Pacheco was able to suit up and the team opted to keep Ingram on the sidelines with La'Mical Perine operating as the RB2.

The Chiefs elevated Ingram from their practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
With both Isiah Pacheco (concussion/shoulder) and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) listed as questionable for the contest, Ingram gives the Chiefs added Week 17 depth in a backfield that also includes La'Mical Perine. In eight games with the Cardinals prior to landing with Kansas City, Ingram logged 74 yards on 35 carries to go along with four catches for 26 yards.

The Chiefs signed Ingram to their practice squad Thursday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year running back out of USC has already found a new home after the Cardinals waived him just two days ago. Ingram saw an increased workload in Arizona while James Conner was on injured reserve, appearing in eight games and logging 100 yards from scrimmage on 39 touches. If Jerick McKinnon (groin) is unable to suit up this weekend, Ingram has a chance at being elevated to the Chiefs' active roster.

Arizona waived Ingram on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After claiming Michael Carter off waivers from the Jets and getting James Conner and Emari Demarcado back from injuries in recent weeks, the Cardinals didn't have much of a need to keep Ingram around as a fourth running back. Before he was a healthy inactive for the Cardinals' Week 12 loss to the Rams, Ingram appeared in eight games and mustered just 74 yards on 35 carries (2.1 average) to go with four receptions for 26 yards.

Ingram (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ingram's workload has been yanked around from week to week, and now that Emari Demercado (toe) is back from a three-game absence, the former will be the odd man out in the Cardinals backfield. James Conner will continue to be the team's lead runner, but Demercado and Michael Carter are the available running backs behind him.

Ingram was active but didn't play in Sunday's 31-26 loss in Houston.
EDGE Analysis
With fellow running back Emari Demercado (toe) still sidelined, James Conner easily paced the Cardinals backfield with 16 touches and 42 of 61 offensive snaps Sunday. Aside from Conner and Ingram, Tony Jones had two touches and 16 snaps on offense, while newcomer Michael Carter was a healthy scratch. Since receiving a season-high 12 touches Week 6, Ingram has 14 combined over the last five games, all of which he's been active for. Considering his recent lack of usage, Ingram appears to be on the outside looking in to any sort of role in Arizona's offense.

Ingram tallied two carries for two yards during Sunday's 25-23 win against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals rode James Conner (knee) out of the backfield in his first action since Week 5, as he turned 41 (of 65) offensive snaps into 16 carries for 73 yards. Meanwhile, Ingram got 14 snaps, and fellow reserve Tony Jones recorded seven plays en route to one carry for 13 yards. With Conner cleared for his typical workhorse role moving forward, Ingram's usage likely will be contingent upon when Emari Demercado may be able to return from a toe injury. Still, Conner leaves nothing more than scraps for his backups, meaning Ingram is tough to trust for production for the foreseeable future.

Ingram rushed nine times for eight yards and wasn't targeted in the Cardinals' 27-0 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
With James Conner (knee) still on IR and Emari Demercado (toe) inactive, Ingram had an opportunity to helm the Cardinals' backfield. However the combination of a tough Browns defense and stacked fronts thanks to the presence of rookie fifth-round pick Clayton Tune under center for Arizona made it a forgettable day for Ingram before game script essentially froze out the ground attack. Conner is reportedly in play for a Week 10 return against the Falcons, but even if he sits out at least one more game, it's possible Demercado returns and relegates Ingram back to a complementary role.

Ingram tallied two carries for nine yards and caught his only target for seven yards during Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
After being contained to nine snaps on special teams Week 7, Ingram regained a small foothold on offense, despite logging 29 plays in that realm. Meanwhile, Emari Demercado continued to dominate the Cardinals backfield with James Conner (knee) on injured reserve, turning 42 snaps into 21 touches for 79 yards from scrimmage. Fellow RB Damien suffered a foot injury Sunday, so Ingram may be the exclusive No. 2 option behind Demercado on Sunday in Cleveland.
