Amaro doesn't fit the bill and may thus find himself looking for a third NFL team ahead of his fourth professional season. The 2014 second-round pick had 38 receptions as a rookie with the Jets, but he missed all of 2015 with a torn labrum and caught only three passes in three games with Tennessee last season.

Amaro briefly appeared on the injury report this week with a quad issue, but that lasted just one day after he was only limited during Tuesday's practice. Even though he now has a clean bill of health, Amaro hasn't seen any offensive snaps since Week 12 against the Bears.

This is the first time Amaro has appeared on an injury report with his quad injury and it's unclear how he was injured.
