McFadden (groin) is listed as probable for Thursday's contest against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Since taking over the No. 1 RB role in Dallas in Week 7, McFadden has recorded three 100-yard rushing performances in five games, while recording between 20 and 32 touches in each outing. Given such a massive workload, he should be able to produce against a staunch Carolina defense that has conceded 120.5 total yards and seven touchdowns to running backs in 2015.

McFadden (groin) was a limited participant at Tuesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
McFadden didn't seem to aggravate his injury during Sunday's win over the Dolphins, finishing with 129 yards on 29 carries and 20 yards on three receptions. Assuming he practices in some capacity Wednesday, he should be fine to handle his usual massive workload in Thursday's game against a tough Carolina defense.

McFadden (groin) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's injury report, according to the Cowboys' official site.
EDGE Analysis
Monday's session was merely a walk-through, so McFadden could make a return to drills as early as Tuesday. His workload over the last month warrants a rest from time to time, as he's received between 20 and 32 touches in five consecutive games. As Thursday's outing against the Panthers approaches, expect his practice participation to confirm that he's again the Cowboys' No. 1 back.

McFadden carried 29 times for 129 yards and caught all three of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
In the return of Tony Romo, it was McFadden who carried the load on offense, setting a new season-high in total touches. The veteran stands to benefit from Romo's return, as teams will no longer be able to stack the box now that Dallas' down-the-field potential has returned. McFadden has now touched the ball at least 20 times in each of the last five games, and he has clearly established himself as the workhorse out of the backfield for as long as he remains healthy. The Cowboys will face a quick turnaround, with the Panthers coming to town on Thanksgiving.

McFadden (groin) is active for Sunday's contest in Miami, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shrugging off a groin strain suffered mid-week, McFadden will continue to serve as the Cowboys' workhorse back, according to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News. If he upholds his standard from four games as the starter -- he's received 31, 26, 28, and 20 touches during that span -- he shouldn't have a problem producing versus a Dolphins defense that's surrendered a league-worst 11 touchdowns to running backs in 2015.

McFadden (groin) will play Sunday, ESPN Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
He's officially listed as questionable, but the Cowboys' lack of depth behind him precluded any thought of letting him rest his groin in advance of the short turnaround before Thanksgiving. McFadden has been seeing a huge workload since taking over as the starting RB, racking up 105 touches over the last four games, so it may just be a matter of time before the notoriously brittle player breaks down. Expect the Cowboys to get every snap they can out of him until that happens though.

McFadden (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Miami, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
McFadden tweaked his groin during Wednesday's practice, leaving him as a limited participant both Thursday and Friday. Despite the designation on Friday's final injury report, McFadden said he's good to go, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He's been dominating the running-back snaps and touches, with no hint of an upcoming change, even though Robert Turbin is expected to be active for Sunday's game, according to Hill.

McFadden was limited at Thursday's practice due to a groin strain, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a complete practice Wednesday, McFadden's reps were scaled back due to a groin injury of unknown severity. His designation on the final injury report of the week could shed light on his potential to suit up in Week 11 at Miami, but the availability of the Cowboys' lead back is now in question. If the groin remains an issue once Sunday rolls around, a trio of untested options (Rod Smith, Trey Williams, and Robert Turbin) would be entrusted to carry the ground game.

McFadden rushed for 32 yards on 17 carries in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. He added 26 yards receiving on three catches.
EDGE Analysis
Sunday represented McFadden's lightest workload in terms of both yards and touches since taking over the lion's share of carries in Week 7. The veteran back saw few holes to squeeze through, his game-long run of seven yards tying a season low. McFadden holds a lot of value as the bell-cow back behind an elite offensive line. It just may take a few weeks for the Cowboys' passing game to stretch defenses enough to give McFadden more space at the line of scrimmage.

McFadden ran the ball 27 times for 117 yards, while catching one of two targets for five yards, in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Since taking over the starting role for the Cowboys three weeks ago, McFadden has gotten 26 or more touches in every game, averaging 111.0 rushing yards and three catches for 21.3 yards. He's only scored once, somewhat limiting his value, but it's clear that Dallas is going to ride McFadden hard as long as he stays healthy and effective. Next up in Week 10 is a Bucs defense that actually ranks fourth in the league in yards per carry against at 3.7, so he could have a hard time making it three 100-yard games in four starts.
