Marshall visited with the Texans on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall underwent a physical and COVID-19 testing with the team but he remains unsigned for now. The veteran linebacker underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in January but has since made a full recovery.

Marshall was waived by the Raiders on Monday, Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall re-signed with the Raiders last week and was immediately listed as the team's No. 1 middle linebacker on the depth chart, but he ended up a healthy scratch Sunday against the Lions. The veteran linebacker will again look to latch on with a new team.

Marshall signed with the Raiders on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall was let go by the Raiders before the season began, but the team brought him back to possibly have an immediate role on defense. Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the rest of the year, so the team's only middle linebacker is Dakota Allen, who hasn't actually been deployed on defense yet. Marshall is just two years removed from his third 100-tackle season, so he's in line to start as soon as Sunday's game against the Lions.

The Raiders released Marshall on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old linebacker signed an incentive-heavy contract in March, hoping to compete for a starting job. Marshall at least gets some time to try to find a new team before Week 1.

Marshall returned to the practice field at training camp Saturday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall, who missed a batch of workouts earlier in the offseason, should be at full strength throughout the preseason as he enters his eighth year in the league. It'll be his first with the Raiders, however, and he'll battle Jason Cabinda for the starting spot at middle linebacker.

Marshall's one-year contract with Oakland has a base value of $1.1 million, with $350,000 guaranteed and up to $3 million available via incentives, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
The contract suggests Marshall is expected to stick on the 53-man roster but won't be handed a starting job. He'll compete for snaps in a linebacker group that includes Tahir Whitehead, Vontaze Burfict, Marquel Lee, Nicholas Morrow and Jason Cabinda. There should ultimately be at least one serviceable IDP among the bunch, but it's tough to say which player(s) will emerge. Whitehead led the Raiders in defensive snaps (1,025) and tackles (126) last season, but Marshall and Burfict were better players before injuries derailed their careers. Marshall was healthy at the end of 2018 and will turn 30 in September.

Marshall signed a one-year, $4.1 million deal with the Raiders on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall comes to Oakland to form an interesting linebacking corps that otherwise includes Tahir Whitehead and ex-Bengal Vontaze Burfict. However, it's not clear who will take on the primary middle linebacker role in this system, making it hard to guess whether Marshall can return to his 100-tackle ways with the Raiders in 2019. The seven-year pro topped 102 tackles in all three seasons in which he's played at least 14 games.

Marshall will have a visit with the Raiders on Thursday, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncos declined to exercise Marshall's contract option for 2019, and he is now testing his options in free agency. The 29-year-old was plagued by injury last season, but had 106 tackles (75 solo), three sacks, one forced fumble and a touchdown during 2017. Oakland could completely revamp its linebacking corps by signing Marshall, as they have already signed Vontaze Burfict this offseason.

The Broncos told Marshall they won't exercise his contract option for 2019, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marshall handled most of Denver's defensive snaps through the first seven games of the 2018 campaign, but he never regained his starting job after a Week 8 knee injury led to five consecutive absences. While he's undoubtedly declined from his 2014-15 peak, Marshall is 29 years old and just two seasons removed from a 106-tackle, three-sack campaign as a 16-game starter in 2017. He should at least find a chance to compete for a starting job, while Denver figures to move forward with Josey Jewell and/or an offseason acquisition next to Todd Davis at inside linebacker.

Marshall (knee) doesn't possess an injury designation for Monday's game against the Raiders, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Marshall was a limited participant both Thursday and Friday, it seemed pretty clear that he would dress for the contest after doing so in Week 15. He should resume his duties as a starting inside linebacker.
