Allen was waived by the Wizards on Saturday, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being out of the league last season, Allen was attempting to make the Wizards final roster. Now, he'll likely look to either the G-League or possibly overseas.

Allen has agreed to join the Wizards for training camp, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
After six years split between the 76ers and Pacers, Allen was unable to attract interest last season and was out of the league entirely. He did, however, get some run in with the G-League's Northern Arizona Suns, where he played in 10 games and averaged 9.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 blocks. He's got plenty of experience, so the Wizards are willing to bring him in for camp to see what he could potentially provide. If Allen does surprisingly make the roster, he'd likely be buried at power forward behind the likes of Markieff Morris, Jeff Green and Jason Smith.

Allen is slated to become an unrestricted free agent after the Pacers informed him they will not exercise his $4 million contract option, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen signed a three-year deal with Indiana back in 2015 and has gone on to average just 4.3 points and 4.6 rebounds since then. This past season, he saw his minutes slip to a career-low 14.3 per game. After his option was declined, the 28-year-old will hit the open market when free agency begins July 1st.

Allen (knee) is active and available to play in Sunday's matchup with the Raptors, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has missed the last two games with a knee injury, but after testing it out during pregame warmups, he's officially been given the green light to take the court. Look for Allen to jump back in as the backup to Thaddeus Young at power forward, likely affording him minutes in the upper teens or low 20's, which restricts his overall upside.

Allen (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been dogged by left knee soreness since before the All-Star break, missing the Pacers' last two contests as a result. The team hasn't provided much of an update on his health heading into Sunday, so it looks like the veteran big man could be in store to miss another game. Kevin Seraphin would be the main beneficiary if Allen sits out again.

Allen (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Pacers sideline reporter Pat Boylan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has dealt with recurring knee issues since before the All-Star break and is now set to miss his second straight game and fourth over the last seven. He's averaged just 12.5 minutes across the last four contests that he was active, so his absence should drastically change the Pacers' regular rotation. If anything, Kevin Seraphin could pick up some extra minutes behind Thaddeus Young at power forward.

Allen (knee) will not play Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
Allen came into Tuesday's contest listed as questionable with knee soreness, and it appears as though the pain is too much for the power forward to play through as of now. Allen previously missed three straight contests before the All-Star break and two straight contests earlier in March with knee problems, so it looks as though those issues could be lingering. Look for Rakeem Christmas to serve as the primary reserve in the frontcourt Tuesday in Allen's absence.

Allen is questionable for Tuesday's tilt against the Knicks with left knee soreness.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is dealing with soreness in the same knee that cause him to miss two consecutive games on Mar. 5 against the Hawks and Mar. 6 against the Hornets. Allen only saw three minutes during Sunday's matchup against the Heat, and saw just a combined 27 minutes in the two games before that. If he's unable to give it a go, look for the Pacers normal rotational players to pick up some extra slack, though Rakeem Christmas -- who picked up 18 minutes Sunday -- could see an increased workload once again.

Allen (knee) is active and available to play in Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has missed the last two contests with a knee injury, but is good to go for Wednesday after testing the injury out during pregame warmups. Look for Allen to slot back in as the backup to Thaddeus Young at power forward, which likely means less minutes for Kevin Seraphin in the frontcourt. Allen could see his playing time limited in his first game back from injury.

Allen (knee) will not play Monday night in Charlotte and is considered day-to-day moving forward, Nate Taylor of the Indy Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is experiencing soreness in his left knee and will now miss his second consecutive game. For however long he's out of commission, look for Kevin Seraphin to operate as the primary backup at power forward.
