O'Neal will not be attending the Warriors' training camp, CSN Bay Area reports. The Warriors kept in contact with O'Neal, leaving the door open for his return, but he's still unsure if he wants to play a 19th NBA season. For Golden State, this means Festus Ezeli will be the team's primary back up to Andrew Bogut.

Unrestricted free agent Jermaine O'Neal is contemplating retirement after 18-years in the league. The Warriors are remaining in touch with O'Neal in case he decides to suit up for his 19th NBA season. O'Neal could sign a one-year deal with the Warriors for the veteran's minimum, but this would be a situation in which he offers much more to the Warriors organization than a fantasy squad. O'Neal averaged 7.9 points, and 5.5 rebounds with the Dubs last season, missing 28 games due to injury.

Jermaine O'Neal hasn't decided whether to retire this summer after 18 seasons in the NBA. J.O. is only 35 years old but he was drafted straight out of high school in 1996 and has taken a beating throughout the course of his impressive career, which includes six straight All-Star appearances from 2002-2007. His defense, rebounding, pick-setting and leadership were essential for the Warriors all season, particularly with Andrew Bogut injured in the playoffs, and if he does retire his veteran presence will be sorely missed.

Jermaine O'Neal confirmed that he plans to have a pain-killing shot before playing in Game 7 vs. the Clippers on Saturday. The Warriors will not have Andrew Bogut (ribs) or Festus Ezeli (knee), so J.O.'s availability is crucial even if he only logs around 15 minutes. The Warriors vs. Clippers will play in the third and final Game 7 in a historic Saturday of NBA action, which is followed by two more decisive Game 7s on Sunday.

Jermaine O'Neal (knee) suggested that Glen Davis intentionally tried to "dive toward [O'Neal's] legs" during Game 6, leading to a bruised right kneecap for J.O. The Warriors' veteran center intends to play around 15 minutes in Game 7 and said that nothing will keep him off the court "short of God coming back [or] the rapture." He's averaging 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.3 blocks in under 14 minutes per game during the postseason, giving Golden State some much-needed minutes at center with Andrew Bogut (ribs) watching from the sidelines.

Jermaine O'Neal reportedly suffered a bone bruise on his right kneecap in Thursday's game, but experienced no ligament damage and will play in Game 7 on Saturday against the Clippers. O'Neal was giving vintage quotes in the locker room following Thursday's win, calling out Big Baby and letting reporters know in no uncertain terms that he intends to play and exact some revenge. He added to our own Aaron Bruski that he's looking to play about 15 minutes, and given the Warriors' depth issues down low that's going to be very important.

Jermaine O'Neal (knee) will have an MRI on his knee on Friday. He said after the game that he is hopeful to play in Game 7 on Saturday and he doesn't think he tore his ACL or MCL. "Short of God returning for the Rapture, I'm going to play on Saturday," O'Neal said. His knee went backwards and not sideways, so there's a good chance he didn't tear either of those aforementioned ligaments. Still, the MRI will go a long way in determining his status for Saturday.

Jermaine O'Neal went to the locker room in the first half of Thursday's game due to a knee injury. His knee buckled and he walked back to the locker room very gingerly. His knee was hyperextended and chances are the 35-year-old big man is done for the night. If O'Neal is out, Draymond Green and Marreese Speights should get some more run.
