It was thought to be only a matter of time before he joined the Mavericks, but O'Neal said Monday that he has not been able to get physically prepared for the NBA. While he isn't completely giving up on playing basketball this season, O'Neal acknowledged that he may not play again. If he does end up playing, it will likely be in a limited role for the Mavs.
