Chamberlain said Wednesday that he doesn't plan on pitching in the majors again, George King of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chamberlain, who was released by the Brewers earlier in the year, will call it quits after 10 years in the majors. "No, it's time to be a dad," he told King when asked if he had one more try to get back to the big-leagues in him. The 32-year-old compiled a 3.81 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and an 8.8 K/9 through 555.1 career innings.

Chamberlain was released by the Brewers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Chamberlain, who registered a 2.25 ERA over 20 innings with the Indians last season, attended Brewers camp as a non-roster invitee, but the team couldn't find enough opportunities in Cactus League play for him to stake his claim to a bullpen spot. The 31-year-old will try to latch on with another organization, but may have to settle for a minor-league deal.

Chamberlain signed a minor league contract with the Brewers on Friday, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former top prospect spent the first half of the 2016 season with the Indians, but he was designated for assignment in July after dealing with various ailments in the prior months. Chamberlain certainly isn't as highly touted as he once was, but he was able to compile a 2.25 ERA and an 8.1 K/9 during his brief time in Cleveland, so there's a chance he could land a spot in an inexperienced Milwaukee bullpen.

Chamberlain declined his Triple-A assignment and is now a free agent, Chris Assenheimer of the Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chamberlain pitched 20 innings for Cleveland this season and posted a 2.25 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. His designation was bit of a surprise after having a good season, but he'll likely find a new team before long.

Chamberlain was designated for assignment by the Indians on Monday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
EDGE Analysis
In a flurry of roster moves, Cleveland DFA'd both Chamberlain and lefty specialist Tom Gorzelanny, calling up relievers Mike Clevinger and T.J. House to take their respective spots on the 40-man roster. It's a bit surprising to see Chamberlain let go in this manner, as he had accumulated a 2.25 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over 20 frames of middle relief. He had pitched in two of the last three games, however, so the need for a fresh arm prevailed.

Chamberlain (ribs) was activated from the disabled list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Chamberlain returns to the Indians almost immediately after he was eligible to come off the disabled list. He suffered an intercostal strain in late May that landed him on the shelf, but prior to that injury, the veteran was enjoying a resurgent 2016 campaign. In 14 appearances, Chamberlain had posted a 1.93 ERA with a microscopic .86 WHIP before suffering the injury. He'll rejoin the Indians' bullpen Wednesday while Cody Anderson will be sent back down to Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move.

Chamberlain (ribs) won't be activated from the 15-day DL until Wednesday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Danny Salazar will be missing his start Tuesday due to shoulder fatigue, forcing the Indians to keep Cody Anderson on the roster to make the spot start. Hence, Chamberlain will need to wait another day to return to the Cleveland bullpen.

Chamberlain (ribs) will be activated from the 15-day DL on Monday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chamberlain made it through Saturday's simulated game without any apparent setbacks, so he's received clearance from team doctors to rejoin the big club. The right-hander had a 1.93 ERA and 0.85 WHIP over 14 innings prior to hitting the DL.

Chamberlain (intercostal strain) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Monday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chamberlain is progressing well from the injury, which resulted on him landing on the DL a week ago. Now that he's set to begin throwing, Chamberlain may be able to return in the 15-day minimum.
