Drew Helleson
D ANA
Thu 4/2/26 3:52 AM

Helleson notched two assists and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Helleson has gotten in the lineup twice in the last three games, as Pavel Mintyukov (lower body) and Radko Gudas (lower body) are both battling injuries. The 25-year-old Helleson is still limited to third-pairing minutes, so he's unlikely to be a major force on offense. He's earned 14 points, 36 shots on net, 59 hits, 75 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 55 outings this season.

Ryan Poehling
C ANA
Thu 4/2/26 3:50 AM

Poehling scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Poehling ended a five-game slump with the first-period tally. The 27-year-old center has filled a middle-six role lately, providing steady defense and a bit of depth scoring. He's up to 10 goals, a career-high 32 points, 82 shots on net, 80 blocked shots, 39 hits and a plus-13 rating through 68 appearances this season.

Alex Killorn
W ANA
Thu 4/2/26 3:48 AM

Killorn scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Killorn snapped a three-game skid with his second-period tally. The 36-year-old forward is up to 13 goals, 29 points, 135 shots on net, 62 hits, 29 blocked shots, 38 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 75 appearances. Killorn's offense doesn't stand out among the Ducks' more talented forwards, but he does enough to be worth a look in deeper fantasy formats.

Troy Terry
RW ANA
Thu 4/2/26 3:47 AM

Terry scored a goal on six shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Terry has two points over three games since he missed one contest due to a lower-body issue. He's up to 18 goals, 54 points, 132 shots on net and a plus-15 rating over 54 appearances. He's never finished a season at a point-per-game pace, but he's clearly benefited from the Ducks' stronger offense this season -- he had 55 points over 77 outings in 2024-25.

Lukas Dostal
G ANA
Thu 4/2/26 3:45 AM

Dostal stopped 17 of 21 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Dostal had a 3-2 lead to protect for much of the third period, but he didn't get the effort across the finish line. Macklin Celebrini tied the game at 3-3 with 1:39 left in the frame, and Alexander Wennberg netted the winning goal for the Sharks just over a minute later. The 25-year-old Dostal has allowed at least three goals in six of his last seven outings, which makes it tough to trust him in fantasy even though he's still getting good scoring support from his team. On the year, he's at a 29-17-3 record with a 3.03 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 51 appearances. The Ducks have a back-to-back coming up -- they host the Blues on Friday and the Flames on Saturday. They've alternated goalies lately, but it's unclear if that pattern will hold, as it may be better to play Dostal in the tougher matchup Friday since the Ducks haven't secured their playoff spot yet.

Sam Dickinson
D SJ
Thu 4/2/26 3:42 AM

Dickinson registered an assist and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Dickinson ended a seven-game slump by helping out on Alexander Wennberg's game-winning goal in the final minute of the third period. The 19-year-old Dickinson has been over the 20-minute mark for ice time in six of the last 11 contests, showing he's gained some trust from the Sharks' coaching staff. The rookie has 13 points, 66 shots on net, 65 hits, 63 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating across 63 appearances.

Alexander Wennberg
C SJ
Thu 4/2/26 3:40 AM

Wennberg scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Wennberg has four goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. He came up clutch Wednesday, keeping his streak alive by scoring at 19:29 of the third period, with his goal being the game-winner. The 31-year-old center has been a near-perfect fit in a middle-six role this year, earning 17 goals, 50 points, 86 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and a minus-26 rating over 72 appearances. This is just the second time in his career he's reached the 50-point mark -- the only other time was his career year of 59 points in 2016-17 with the Blue Jackets. Wennberg's goal Wednesday also matched his career high from the 2020-21 campaign with the Panthers.

Will Smith
C/RW SJ
Thu 4/2/26 3:37 AM

Smith scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two assists and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Smith opened the scoring at 4:37 of the first period and helped out on both of Macklin Celebrini's tallies in the third. This was Smith's fourth multi-point effort over the last five games. He's earned three goals and six assists in that span, and he's up to 22 goals, 54 points, 148 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over 60 appearances. His next point will be the 100th of his NHL career.

Macklin Celebrini
C SJ
Thu 4/2/26 3:32 AM

Celebrini scored twice on four shots, added two assists and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Celebrini already had two points in the contest before he stepped up late in the third period. He tied the game at 18:21 of the frame with his 40th goal of the season, and he then set up Alexander Wennberg on the go-ahead tally just 1:08 later. Celebrini has popped off for nine points over his last three contests, making up for the five-game span before that in which he was limited to one assist. The 19-year-old superstar has 105 points, 257 shots on net, 46 hits, 46 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 73 outings. This is already the fourth-most points in a season by a teenager in NHL history, and Celebrini is just two points away from matching Jimmy Carson's 1987-88 campaign with the Kings for a spot in the top-three.

Yaroslav Askarov
G SJ
Thu 4/2/26 3:28 AM

Askarov stopped 28 of 31 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
This one was looking like a loss for Askarov, but Macklin Celebrini pulled off some magic late to flip the result in the last two minutes. This was Askarov's second win in a row, though he has allowed seven goals on 57 shots in those games. He's up to 21-17-3 with a 3.52 GAA and an .886 save percentage through 43 appearances this season. Alex Nedeljkovic will likely get the nod Thursday versus the Maple Leafs, but Askarov should be back between the pipes Saturday against the Predators, which is a matchup that has massive implications on the wild-card race.
