Zack Kassian has finished serving his three-game suspension. He was banned for a hit-from-behind last Thursday on Dallas' Brenden Dillon. Kassian will be ready to return to the lineup on Friday night against Washington, so get him back in the lineup if you normally would.

Zack Kassian has been suspended for three games for boarding Dallas' Brenden Dillon. Dillon wasn't hurt as a result of the incident. Kassian will be eligible to return on March 14. He has 18 points and 118 penalty minutes in 59 games this season.

Zack Kassian scores his 11th goal of the 2013-14 campaign as the Vancouver Canucks fell 4-2 to the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. He did a little of everything today, generating that tally, getting two PIM, three SOG and one hit. His 103 PIM make his spotty scoring and so-so peripherals easier to stomach, but fantasy owners would love to see more consistent numbers from the 23-year-old power forward.

Zack Kassian had an assist in a 5-2 loss to Chicago on Wednesday. Kassian is more of a defensive forward, but he's been held off the scoresheet in just two of his last six matches. He now has 10 goals and 16 points to go along with his 99 penalty minutes in 49 contests this season.

In 52 games this season, the Canucks rank 22nd in the NHL with 2.44 goals-per-game, a number skewed only slightly lower by scoring just 30 times in the last 17 games. In 30 of these 52 games, the Canucks have scored two or fewer goals. "It's the same core group that has been here for a long time, and we did not have trouble scoring goals two, three, four years ago, so we don't know what it is that has crept in," Vancouver forward Zak Kassian said, "but somehow it's getting harder to get those goals. We can't blame post-and-out (bad luck) when it's years in the making. It's not a freak couple of weeks; it has been a while now and it's something we have to work on." Assistant general manager Laurence Gilman said: "We are not scoring at a level we're happy with and that clearly has to change. Whether those changes occur because our power play starts to produce or we get greater production from players whose production is down or because we go out and acquire more scoring has yet to play out. But we need to improve our offensive level."

Zach Kassian scored a lone goal in Vancouver's 9-1 loss to Anaheim Wednesday night at Honda Center. Kassian also had 12 penalty minutes in the game. He now has nine goals and three assists with 81 penalty minutes in 42 games this season. David Booth and Alexander Edler assisted the lone goal.

Zack Kassian had a goal and an assist in Vancouver's 5-4 shootout loss on Tuesday. Kassian was initially questionable for the contest after leaving Sunday's game due to a potential head injury. He has 11 points and 47 penalty minutes in 39 contests this season.

Zack Kassian (head) is good to play Tuesday. Kassian left Sunday's game after being hit by Tom Sestito's skate boot in the forehead. Fortunately it looks like the injury wasn't significant. He has nine points and 47 penalty minutes in 38 contests in 2013-14.

Zack Kassian was hit in his forehead by the skate boot of teammate Tom Sestito early in the second period and did not return. Kassian was dazed as he left the ice. There is no word at this time as to the severity of the injury. Stay tuned and consider him day-to-day for now.
