Zach Parise (foot) might spend some time on the ice this week.
Parise hasn't played since Dec. 22 due to a stress fracture in his left foot. Although his return isn't immediate, Minnesota needs him back as soon as possible given that Mikko Koivu had ankle surgery on Monday.

Zach Parise will be out of action for a minimum of three more games but likely more.
An MRI confirmed there is a stress fracture in his left foot that is going to need some time to heal. "We've got to keep him off the ice until it starts to feel better and then we might have to keep him off a little bit longer", said Minneosta coach Mike Yeo."We just have to make sure he gets a full opportunity to heal." Althoiugh Parise should be recovered in time to play in the Olympic games in February, he may miss a good part of January.

While it's far from confirmed, there's concern that Zach Parise suffered a stress fracture in his foot, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Michael Russo reports.
Parise came back rapidly from an injury that was supposed to cost him weeks, but it seems possible that he might have cost himself even more weeks. The talented and hard-working winger's status hasn't been confirmed by the Minnesota Wild, but it doesn't sound very good overall.

Zach Parise (lower body) has been placed on injured reserve.
He was at the team's practice rink on Saturday, but as expected he was kept off the ice and it will stay that way until he gets clearance from doctors. "He wants to be in the lineup. Hopefully everyday he gets his rest is a day we get closer to him coming back," coach Mike Yeo said. "He wants to get on the ice and he wants to help the team. He's a huge part of our team. We can't wait to have him back."

Zach Parise could be out of action for a while as he appears to have aggravated a foot injury.
He blocked a shot a month ago and was supposed to miss three weeks with a bad bone bruise. Howeever, Parise returned to the lineup after missing only one game. it appears however, that Parise's injury has worsened as a result of him playing. The Wild coaching staff may keep him off the ice for some time to allow for a full recovery. If you were counting on a quick return by Parise, we suggest you make some other plans.

Zach Parise (lower body) is listed as day-to-day, according to Wild coach Mike Yeo.
Minnesota is going to keep Parise off the ice for a little to get him healthy, which supports the idea that he played with an injured foot and returned too soon when he was hurt in late November.

Zach Parise (lower body) isn't expected to travel with the Wild to Winnipeg for Friday night's game.
Michael Russo of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune believes that Parise will miss some games with what is presumed to be an aggravation of the foot injury that he has been playing with for more than three weeks. Parise blocked a shot back on Nov. 25 and he was expected to miss a few weeks, but he sat out just one game.

Zach Parise will miss Monday's game with a lower-body injury.
Minnesota was already struggling offensively, so this is a huge blow for them. Granted, Parise hasn't quite lived up to expectations this season, but he's still tied for the team lead with 27 points in 37 contests. The exact nature or severity of his ailment isn't known yet.

Zach Parise admitted to the team being frustrated after they lost for the fourth time in their last six contests on Sunday.
"We haven't played great," Parise said. "I don't know. We have to find a way to score. That's the bottom line. We're not scoring. We're not giving ourselves a chance. We're not scoring goals." That's really been an ongoing issue all season and the rank 29th in goals per contest as a result. Parise has 15 goals and 27 points in 37 games, which are pretty solid numbers, but still well below what's expected of him.
