Foegele scored two goals and added an assist in Carolina's 6-4 win over Washington on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
One of the goals came shorthanded; Foegele now has three shorties on the season and that ties him for the league lead. Even though he plays down the lineup, Foegele has managed 20 points in 39 games. There's value in that in deep leagues.

Foegele collected an assist, four shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele set up Andrei Svechnikov for the game-tying goal. December has been kind to Foegele -- the 23-year-old has two markers and five helpers in eight games since the calendar flipped. He has a career-high 16 points to go with 69 shots and 43 hits in just 35 games this year -- he needed 77 outings to pick up 15 points in 2018-19.

Foegele scored two shorthanded goals Saturday in a 4-0 win over Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele is the fifth player in Hurricanes/Hartford Whalers history to pot two shorthanded goals in a game and the first since 2011. The goals snapped a seven-game goal drought. Foegele's overall production seems low (14 points in 33 games). But compared to his 15 in 77 games in his rookie campaign, he's showing a big step forward. The winger is on pace for a 35-point season. That's still not fantasy worthy, but it sure speaks to future potential.

Foegele tallied two assists during Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele collected assists on both his team's goals but did not participate in the shootout. The 23-year-old has only one other multi-point outing this season, making Foegele largely irrelevant in a fantasy sense. He certainly could stand to shoot more, as Foegele has attempted just one shot in his previous three games.

Foegele scored a goal on nine shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele's nine shots were a season-high for the 23-year-old winger, but it wasn't enough as Henrik Lundqvist stood on his head in this one, stopping 41 of 43 shots to deny the Canes the win. The good news is, Foegele has been skating in a top-six capacity this season, currently on the first line with Jordan Staal and Nino Niederreiter. As a result, he now has nine points through 25 games, putting him on pace for the first 30-point season of his young career. For fantasy purposes, he's a player to keep an eye on.

Foegele had a goal and an assist and was plus-3 in Monday's 8-2 win over Ottawa. He also had four shots on goal.
EDGE Analysis
It hasn't been the most productive start to the season for the 23-year-old, who now has two goals and seven points in 18 games, despite receiving a top-six role. Foegele had 10 goals and 15 points in 77 games as a rookie in 2018-19 and would be a good bet to eclipse those totals if he held onto his current role, but he's going need more performances like tonight's in order to avoid moving down the lineup.

Foegele scored his fourth point of the season with an assist in Friday's 7-3 win over the Red Wings, but saw just 10:46 in ice time.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele landed a plum gig this season, playing on the Canes' second line with Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov, but so far it hasn't translated into much offense for the 23-year-old Markham native. That being said, Foegele's job is probably safe for the time being, as coach Rod Brind'Amour may not want to tinker too much with his line combinations given that the team is off to such a strong start (9-3-1, second in the Metropolitan Division). However, keep an eye on Foegele's minutes and his linemates, in case he gets shifted down to more of a checking-line role.

Foegele has just two assists in eight games to start the season.
EDGE Analysis
With the upgrades the Canes made to their forward lines this year -- adding Ryan Dzingel and Erik Haula in the offseason -- Foegele has been skating primarily on the fourth line and has seen his ice time drop by about two minutes compared to last season (10:36 vs. 12:30). Foegele only scored 15 points in 77 games in 2018-19, but he could end up falling even short of that paltry total this year given his reduced role in the lineup.

Foegele provided a goal and two helpers in four games during the Hurricanes' 4-0 series sweep over the Islanders in the second round.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele has made a statement with five goals and four helpers through 11 games to start the postseason. The 23-year-old winger only had 15 points in 77 regular-season games in his first full NHL season. Foegele will play the last year of his entry-level contract in 2019-20, and if he can replicate his playoff performance, he could be due for a big payday at the end of that campaign.

Foegele lit the lamp in Monday's win over the Capitals for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
EDGE Analysis
Foegele has given goalie Braden Holtby a lot of problems in this series, as the rookie winger leads the Hurricanes with four goals, including a power-play marker in Game 3. If you're invested in DFS games for the playoffs, consider rolling the dice on Foegele since he's still a relative unknown to the casual hockey fan.
