Wade Brookbank has agreed to an AHL contract with the Rockford IceHogs. The IceHogs are the AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Brookbank had an assist and 100 penalty minutes in 28 AHL contests last season.

Wade Brookbank has been handed a one-game suspension by the AHL. Brookbank has no points and 20 penalty minutes in five games with the Rockford IceHogs. He typically gets a lot of penalty minutes, but it's moot from a fantasy perspective because there's basically no chance of him playing in the NHL once the lockout ends.
