We like his last two games, but there's no way we're going to trust him yet.

Without a spot in the top six, the 33-year-old's offensive contributions will most likely be sporadic over the second half of the campaign. The two-time Stanley Cup champion has chipped in four goals and 16 points over 41 games this season.

Tarasenko recorded an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Tarasenko ended an eight-game slump when he helped out on a Simon Edvinsson tally in the third period. Prior to the holiday break, Tarasenko had been on the top line, but he was back on the third line Friday. The 33-year-old winger is at 13 points, 60 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-9 rating through 34 appearances this season in what's shaping up to be one of the worst healthy campaigns of his career.

The 33-year-old winger has routinely played in a top-six role this season, but he doesn't appear to have much chemistry with Dylan Larkin. Tarasenko scored his fourth goal of the season Sunday in a 5-4 overtime loss to Vancouver.

The Russian winger has scored in back-to-back games after going 16 contests without a marker. Tarasenko has been playing on the top line lately alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. Despite the relatively sluggish start, fantasy managers should keep tabs on Tarasenko given his recent promotion.
